This was probably the best hotel experience I’ve had in over a year. The room was surprisingly large. The concierge told me which plug to use to plug in my electric car and gave me advice. When he went to tell us about the Wi-Fi, he realized our name, which was to be the password, had an apostrophe in it, and so he gave us a simpler passcode. Everything has been better than expected.

Had some engine issues with a jet and landed at KILN. The Hampton was one of the closest hotels and offered the government rate. Although I only stayed a night, the small-town help and care is apparent in the cleanliness of the hotel and the attitudes of the staff. Great customer service, complimentary breakfast, free parking, and nice, clean rooms. Great experience and highly recommended!

As usual, Hampton Inn doesn’t disappoint. At these prices, I’m still not sure how they do it. The rooms are always very clean, the beds comfortable, 4 wonderful pillows(at various densities), and vg a/c. The staff is very helpful, courteous, and professional. It’s very quiet with a good breakfast –and coffee, tea and cookies 24⁄7. I stay at Hampton Inns all the time because we have a pet — and I’m always so pleased.

We visited this hotel in Wilmington last weekend when we were picking up our daughter from camp. When I arrived to check in, the desk attendant was friendly and efficient. I had my room key within 2 minutes of approaching the desk. Our room was above average for this level hotel. Very nicely appointed and clean with more than ample linens. The bed was very comfortable. The only criticism I had was that the TV seemed a little small for the room size, but it wasn’t a big deal. When I went to open the curtains, I was very pleasantly surprised by the little pond and groomed walking paths that were a part of the hotel grounds. They had picnic tables as well. It was a really nice added touch. I only wished we had enough time to take advantage of it. The free breakfast had a lot of offerings. And everything was passable to very good. Between all of us we tried the waffles, eggs, ham, potatoes, and zucchini bread. It was definitely an added value to staying at the hotel. We didn’t get an opportunity to try the pool at this hotel, but it was very nicely placed with a view of the pond mentioned above. If we find ourselves in Wilmington again, this will be the hotel we stay at. I definitely recommend it!

When you walk in the lobby you can tell how clean this hotel is. the breakfast bar /eating area is extremely clean and beautiful. I felt as if my room would be extremely clean as well. they did not disappoint. staff was friendly, the grounds are really nice, they even have a small botanical area behind the building. areas for pets are placed in proper areas. this is the kind of hotel you want to spend a night at: clean, comfortable, and safe.

Fairly nice Hampton, However I asked for a non smoking and was put on the smoking floor. I can’t sleep because my room smells like a cigarette butt! GROSS! I can’t believe we are still fighting this issue.

If you find yourself in Wilmington, this Hampton Inn is a solid option for your overnight stay. The reception desk staff were welcoming and helpful with directions & recommendations to my questions. If you have ever stayed at a Hampton Inn before the hotel décor and the room décor is similar to what you’d expect. There were no king bed, non-smoking rooms available when I reserved the room. It was not an option, which I did find a little odd. That being said, I did not ask when I checked in if it was an option. The beds were so beyond comfortable, and in combo with the blackout curtains and the general quiet of the 4th floor, I slept better than I have in a long time. The room was clean. I did hang all my towels up, but still returned to all fresh towels. I am not sure what I am doing wrong here, but my towels are never conserved. As per a HI, breakfast was included. The meal included a hot item(egg), breakfast meat, assorted baked goods, fruit, cereal, oatmeal, coffee and juices. Overall, a good option for my business travel. Easy to get around and access to the highway to return to Dayton for the airport.

Nice spacious room with everything we needed for 3 nights. Good business center and very friendly and accommodating staff. Beds were great, as was the breakfast. The fitness center was ok(except for the treadmill whose speed could not be turned down-very dangerous)-and the pool was nice and clean. Great home base for local travel.
