The first time I went to this restaurant I called to order the food before I got there and the first impression was the worst because the guy who picked up the phone sounded so unprofessional. I still ordered the food because I wanted to give it a try. Well when we got there we decided it to just sit and eat there. The food was actually good but while we were there the lady who was cooking started arguing with the guy upfront(SORUDE&UNPROFESSIONALAGAIN) I mean who wants to go to a restaurant where the actual employees or owners are making you feel uncomfortable by saying people can wait for the food because she is too busy. Well I understand she’s frustrated but how is it the customers fault that they don’t have enough staff?! Since the food was good I decided to go again so I called to order food and again the guy but I didn’t pay attention and ordered my food. I picked it up and when I got home the order was totally wrong. I call the place and they were so rude. When I got there the lady was really rude and was acting like she didn’t believe that my order was wrong(I guess she didn’t want to make it). It’s not my fault the guy messed it up. Soooo, I’ve never been there again. The reason why a lot of Puerto Rican restaurants are not successful is because of customer service and because they have the whole family working there and cannot be professional. It doesn’t matter how good the food is if you are rude to me I will not go back. You are not doing me a favor by making that food BUT I AMTHEONECONTRIBUTINGTOYOURBUSINESS. HORRIBLESERVICE!!!

Here we go. This place is OK puertorrican food but price is to high $$$. And the guy that takes you order always mess up always my order not done on time our items missing and he don’t care a bit. Owner is nice but need to hire professional people that care not just her family. And please open more late close to early.

If you want authentic Puerto Rican food, this is the place to go. Casual and welcoming. They always make me feel like I’m visiting my family in PR. Best alcapurrias!

I eat here once a week mainly because of how good the rice is. I seem to notice that when establishments make rice in smaller pots the outcome is way better. I love the fast service too since my time is limited and the fact they are open earlier then most places. By the most part the food has been very pleasing the last couple times and would def. recommend and come back. By far this is my favorite puerto rican resturant in the area. The only down fall is the parking at times.

Definitely some of the best Puerto Rican food I have eaten. The restaurant is clean, the staff is super friendly and the food is amazing. Try the pork shoulder and yellow rice platter, and don’t forget the tostones on the side. I hope this restaurant is around for a long time. Welcome to the neighborhood!
