Cozy spot in downtown Wilmington. I read some good reviews about the place and decided to stop in for some breakfast. My fiancé had the chip beef — -it was delicious (though I normally don’t care for that kind of dish). I had the sunrise platter with turkey sausage, turkey bacon, 2 eggs and French toast. Everything was absolutely scrumptious. Our check was equally appealing. Both meals were less than $ 13. The staff is also very friendly and at tentative.

Straight down the middle normal lunch counter, what you’d expect from the grill at an employee café. Unseasoned, but perfectly cooked fries, a pre-formed burger that’s been sitting in a water bath and regrilled (nearly too tender). Nothing to complain about, but nothing out of the ordinary either.

Tucked away on 9^th street downtown is this great find. Go here for the cheap eats and the friendly and funny staff. Went for the first time and immediately felt welcome. I recommend the Philly Cheesesteak with fried onions — fresh, huge, delicious.

King of Prussia, PA

Delta is an unassuming place, but the food is consistently good, the staff is quite cheery and service is always fast. Prices are reasonable. The dining room is low-end, but clean. The food is typical lunch counter fare, ranging from healthy salads to the burgers, fries, etc.
I have lunched at Delta many times and have never had a bad experience. Seating can get a bit crowded in the thick of lunch hour during the work week.
