We went to this office for the first time after finding them through our network of approved doctors. The place is kind of hard to find, it’s tucked away in a dimly lit complex of offices, and we just happened to drive up on it, as I pulled over to look up their number to call and ask for directions. The receptionist left something to be desired, but in her defense, they have late office hours on Wednesdays, and maybe she just had a long day. The techs were nice and well informed. I’m used to the doctor conducting all of the tests, but in this case, one tech did the vision test (can you read this line?), while another conducted the eye dilation test (blurry vision, anyone?). While my wife has perfect vision, my time with the Dr. McConnell was more involved. She was able to answer all of my questions and was actually honest with me. She didn’t try to sell me a new pair of glasses b/​c my Rx didn’t change, and she told me unless I have any problems, there really is no need to come back for at least two years! This office was more personal and trustworthy than the money hawks at the chain eye care stores, and I will definitely be returning.
