Stopped in for a quick lunch, soups=fantastic, subs=amazing and the homemade chips, fries and dressings are one of a kind. This place is a must stop when coming or going to the beach.

The blackened chicken salad is amazing! The lettuce is crisp and refreshing. My children love the crab nuggets. If you can catch the prime rib sandwich on special it is a special treat. It is very affordable for the area. Be sure to look around for the prominent faces of Wrightsville Beach.

Had lunch here and was very pleased with the bacon cheeseburger and in house home made chips were excellent. Hamburger was well seasoned not greasy. Service was great. Will definitely come back for breakfast.

Great service! The food was good and well priced. Groupon got us here or I wouldn’t have brought the family. Wouldn’t have known it even existed.
I’d probably return. The biggest issue was with the facility itself. Bathrooms were dirty, pendant light over the counter was out and the place just seemed tired. If everything was clean and it seemed the owner paid attention to the details it would easily be a 4 star place.

Stopped by this place after looking up good burger places through Unilocal.We were in town for a quick surf and craved a great burger. Glad we stopped in! Although the place was empty, the service and food were awesome. The onion rings, per suggestion of the server, were delicious! I got the hickory BBQ burger. Omg. I still rave about it. Not only was the burger big and juicy and the kaiser roll soft, but the way the bacon was cooked to create a perfect, slightly crunchy bite was just awesome. Will definitely visit this place again on future trips. Conveniently located close enough to the beach without having to deal with the ridiculous meter parking.

Came here while in town attending a conference in Wrightsville because I bought a Groupon. Turns out it was a great choice! Family atmosphere & family owned establishment. Lindsey was our server and she was super sweet and even more attentive. Will definitely be back and I recommend stopping by if you’re in town.

I Went here after I saw that they had a special on Groupon. I must say that I was impressed. Not only did they have great service, but the food was great as well. They had this super tasty hamburger with BBQ sauce on it that was to die for. I mean, it was a great burger, and I don’t say that about many places. It is a must visit.

Went with our monthly lunch group (14). A variety of food was ordered, from salads to sandwiches. Homemade fries were a big hit. No complaints about service or food quality & that says a lot for 14 women! Very pleased with selection of this restaurant.

We can here for lunch in a Sunday for the first time at 11am (when lunch starts) I had the grilled chicken sandwiched my wife had the David’s Italian hot sub, my daughter had the French dip and my son had the David’s super burger. Everything was VERY good. All the meals come with homemade steak fried or homemade chips (both were good) all the meals we ordered ranged from $ 7.50 to $ 8.95. I would like to come back and try the breakfast.

My favorite breakfast restaurant in ILM. If you are looking for gourmet, you won’t find it here, but if you are looking for simple, good tasting food with excellent service, this is the place. I highly recommend.

Love David’s deli! I either order the super burger (comes with deliciously flavored chips), the lasagna (kind of salty), or the chicken salad which comes with melted cheese and bacon bits which I don’t care for. It never takes long and the portion sizes are large.

Visiting the area from New Bern and after a day at the Battleship and Gardens, we were exhausted and ready for a good meal. I hate eating at chains when I’m somewhere new so we used Unilocal to find a place– David’s! Absolutely no complaints. Quick, fast, friendly service, clean, comfortable & casual atmosphere, and super fast food prep (although we were here at 5pm and the only people in the place lol). We got the cheesesteak, Italian sub and Mac n chz. All delicious. Humongous steak fries! Definitely not disappointed.

Once again, I wish Unilocal had an option for 3.5 stars.
I tried David’s Deli this week for lunch. Upon entering, I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the interior. More than just the take-​out counter I was expecting, David’s has plenty of tables and booths in their dining room.
The menu is standard deli fare; I didn’t find anything extremely outlandish. I went with the Italian Sub hoagie with homemade chips. It was pretty yummy, not bad. The chips were something to write home about, more than the sandwich itself.
The competition around Lumina Station is mighty fierce, and I have to admit that my review of David’s takes that into consideration. On its own merits, David’s deli probably deserves a rating closer to 3.75 stars. But, all in all, the lunch at David’s has a hard time meeting the standard of the other restaurants in the area.
I would still like to come back and try the breakfast sometime. The service was just fine, no complaints here.

Went here for lunch after purchasing a Living Social deal. Before arriving, I expected it to be a take-​out type place, but it was actually a sit-​down restaurant.
I ordered the chicken salad sandwich meal with fries and a ‘great coffee’. The chicken salad was very good and the fries were DELICIOUS (they were thick cut wedge fries with some sort of old-​bay type seasoning). The coffee really was great!!!
Service was fast and friendly. Prices were good. I would come back.
