Cvs Pharmacy

This CVS is their closest location to where I work and it’s convenient for a quick stop on the way in or out of Trolley Square. I think their problems really originate from CVS corporate. The last time I went there to pick up something, the cashier couldn’t figure out how to add a coupon that was already loaded onto my CVS card. She had to ask someone else from another department and that took nearly 10 minutes. So that’s either a training issue or a usability problem.
That aside, this CVS store is pretty much identical to other CVS stores in the area in what they stock, i.e. they have a lot of useless homeopathic crap on the shelves but not one single bee sting treatment. But if you’re looking for candy, cosmetics and quackery, they’ve got your back!

I just had the pleasure of working with Sean… He was quick and efficient while facing a line of customers while maintaining a high level of customer service through conversation and going the extra mile to help me with a coupon I had… Great job hiring Sean! He deserves a promotion

I’m only giving this location 3 stars due to a very rude pharmacist. Very unprofessional, I would give a 1 star if everyone else wasn’t so nice.
I come here at least 2 times a week and overall it’s fine. I just hate dealing with this one pharmacist and love when they are not there when I come to pick up or have questions about my prescriptions

I went to the pharmacy with a discount code for my dog’s prescription. The first time, after I waited for 45 minutes, they overcharged me but since it was crowded, I just paid it. 2^nd time, the woman was really helpful and took my coupon and adjusted the price. I just went at 9:45pm with the coupons again (which has a phone number you can call for help in processing). While the cashier tried for 10 minutes to unsuccessfully push it through, they kicked me out at 10:01 because they were closing and told me to stop back the next morning and they could try to fiddle with it. They weren’t rude but I think you stay an extra 10 minutes and resolve the issue vs. telling me to stop back in the AM. I’ve never had a problem at Walgreen’s. Just went to CVS because they were cheaper. So frustrating… I just don’t have the time for multiple CVS visits. Especially this week. And they looked at me like I was crazy … Why would I think a coupon for that specific location would work? Maybe I am crazy.

I feel weird writing a Unilocal review for a CVS, but… I. Love. This Place. It’s huge, clean, well-​organized. The pharmacy staff are incredibly helpful and attentive, and I never wait longer than 10 minutes to have an Rx filled on the spot (even when they’ve been super busy). (Side note for bargain-​hunting, makeup-​obsessed females like me: their cosmetics section is excellent).

I agree it’s dumb to review a chain store, but this CVS is a needed addition to Trolley Square. Big, clean, drove through pharmacy– all are needed in this area. After standing in line for at least 30 minutes at happy Harrys every time I go there, this place has quick and friendly service.

This CVS has been a welcome presence in downtown Wilmington. It really has no competition. The store is spacious, well-​stocked and clean, but that’s not what makes this place stand out. It’s the outstanding pharmacy that makes this chain store noteworthy. The friendly and professional staff go out of their way to help customers. That makes me want to return to the store even if the purpose of my visit is nothing more than a pack of gum.

I typically hate listing reviews of chains, especially when they aren’t restaurants but this CVS deserves it’s own Unilocal*entry; the pharmacy actually.
I’ve rarely had the experience with any retail establishments that I’ve had with the pharmacy staff at this store. Friendly, accommodating, willing the go the extra step, offering to call my doctor in Manhattan several times during my stay in Wilmington to obtain authorizations for medications, giving me complimentary/​free meds for the weekend when I’ve been out and they couldn’t reach my doc for refill approval, ALWAYS friendly, all of the staff, not just one. The pharmacy manager at this store deserves special recognition from the company for having such an incredible staff, friendly, warm, helpful. I can’t recommend them enough.
