Delicious! Maple soft serve dipped in chocolate really hit the spot. The soft serve was creamy and tasty. They have picnic tables with umbrellas right outside.

Stopped here while on vacation the other day. Was nothing short of fantastic. We all had one of their sundaes and each was super delicious. Ate every bite. It’s just a small shop, but they were extremely friendly. We’ll definitely stop again when in the area.

It’s the bomb! It is custard, not fro-yo or ice milk, so the consistency is thick and the flavor is beyond delicious. It’s what a good old fashioned creemee should be. A real gem.

The flavor and consistency is really good. The staff was not very friendly. High prices for such small portions.

This is the go-to ice cream place in the Wilmington/Dover area. Fresh and delicious ice cream, great sundaes. Fun picnic benches with just the right laid-back atmosphere. They don’t open until 12 noon unfortunately. Rarely a long line, and when it’s long it moves quickly enough. On my last visit, during Blueberry Festival, I got the seasonal Blueberry Sundae. Yum city!!!

Attention people of the world: at this unlikely spot in the middle of the woods in Vermont exists one of the greatest ice cream products ever created. The creemee is a delicacy unique to the state of Vermont, much like Boudin is in the south, where everyone seems to have their own favorite place that they believe makes it best. You can find creemees at gas stations, grocery stores, farm markets, and many other locations in this great state. Well, I am here to say that I know absolutely nothing about creemees and have had pretty much no experience eating them. However, I do know a little about ice cream, having gobbled it up in the best places I have been able to access across the world. So, when this little stand in a small dirt clearing in the woods of Vermont served me one of the top few desserts I have ever tasted in my life, I was pretty amazed. The Vermont Maple Creemee here is a masterpiece. For New Yorkers reading this it has a base sort of similar to the custard served at shake shack but with achingly fresh local cream and far smoother, richer consistency. Since they are using custard, you can instantly taste the extra body provided by the egg yolks as well as the decadent, velvety texture that they produce. The maple syrup in this treat is real and, as such, is subtle, complex, and just sweet enough. The actual consistency of this custard is almost unbelievably smooth. As in, I kept staring at it really closely, trying to deduce exactly how it maintained that kind of mouth feel. The location is just really fun and weird and cool and the ice cream is utterly unforgettable. So, from someone who knows absolutely zero about the creemee culture of Vermont: rock this place.

Amazing! Get the peanut butter sauce! It’s a tiny place that you might miss if you aren’t looking but they pack everything you need to satisfy the craving.

Stopped here on drive home from a so-so dinner in Wilmington. Lots of flavors on menu. I wanted the VT maple creemee but was afraid it would be too sweet. The woman behind the counter offered a sample. Wow! Tasted like vanilla with right amount of maple. I ordered a small on a cake cone and savored my dessert. Soooo worth the stop.

A true gem! The Creemee Stand has been a Deerfield Valley institution for many years. I literally cannot wait for Memorial Day weekend to arrive so that I can get some of that ice cream. Actually, I think it’s custard, but who gives a crap, the stuff is amazing. Usually, I go with the soft serve vanilla and toasted coconut hot dip. Imagine, a good humor toasted almond bar, tastes kind of like that but about 1000 times better! The homemade ice cream sandwiches are great as well, as are any special flavor of soft serve. The woman who owns the Creemee is very nice, as are all the employees there. It’s great for kids as well.

This is the real deal in every respect. Best, richest, creamiest soft serve, every kind of topping and cone imaginable. Best Vermont made hard ice cream, tons of flavors. Best friendliest service possible. An institution unto itself. And right next to Joe’s Home Cooking.

This is the best soft serve ever. It is delicious frozen custard, not ordinary soft ice cream. Think rich, creamy, sweet — DELICIOUS! We enjoy Creemee’s ice cream all summer long and only dread having to face the winter months without all their goodness. All winter, we anticipate their reopening over Memorial Weekend and their eating ice cream all summer long.
