Well, where do I start? You live here, you’re truly getting what you pay for. Yeah the rent is cheap and so is everything else. Let’s start with the 1960s «charm» that’s never REALLY been updated. Painted over wood paneling, amateur patch and dry wall work. Sub-par paint job through the entire apartment. Dark brown shag rug that is missing chunks from it. Next, the land lords and«24 hour maintenance.» We had a leak in our ceiling and we called maintenance and they showed up 3 days later and barged right in my apartment with no notice while I was asleep. Caulking in the bathroom is covering up black mold which we discovered 8 months into living here after it peeled away in the shower. We have two cats and the neighborhood kids tore a huge hole in our outside screen window to throw sticks in and chips to feed the cats. Tried to call about that and no answer ever, even during working office hours. Also, you’re neighbors clearly didn’t need a background check to get into this place. Our neighbor across the hall leaves trash out for 2 days so it stinks up the unventilated hall way. No one in the office fixed that problem either after phone calls. There is no parking for back yard apartment renters, you’ll constantly get asked for money and on site laundry is a joke. 1 washer and 1 dryer for 50 plus ppl living in a building. Other attendants have broken doors, washers and damaged my boyfriends car. This complex doesn’t give a rats ass who you are or what you need. It’s a HUGE waste of money.
