Store had a great feel! Employees were friendly. They replaced my screen at a great deal and alerted me too water damage. And they told me it might corrode in the future. I didn’t know that. it was helpful in case it gives me trouble later. I would go back especially since e they give a lifetime guarantee on their work.

Just would like to first say the staff is very helpful at this location. Always willing to find the best financial solution for your repair. Usually my repair is completed in a few hours. Highly recommend CPR.

We took my sons Nokia Lumia 920 in to have a cracked screen replaced. The phone wasn’t pretty but it worked just fine. Right off the bat there were red flags. The cost would be 85.00 or «around» 107.00 because they weren’t sure if it requires 2 screens. Then about an hour later we get a phone call. The tech couldn’t get the phone past the boot screen. They tell me that after Googling the issue a hard reset needed to be done but all contacts, etc. would be lost. Told them to go ahead. Then a couple hours later my son goes to pick up the phone and they tell him«sorry, but we can’t fix your phone, we have no idea why it won’t boot up.» Needless to say I was upset. Worked when I took it in and now it was bricked. Spoke with the manager Samantha May. She would take no responsibility whatsoever for the now non working phone. She did point out that she waived the non refundable 45.00 fee for just looking at the phone as well as not charging us for the screen that was installed. I should hope not! I got a lot of excuses about why they were not responsible for the phone not working. For example, there could have been damage inside and when the screen was removed circuitry could have been loosened. One would assume that some sort of diagnostic would have been done before the screen was permanently affixed. Since the screen was put on, the tech must have believed the components in the phone were not compromised. Yet, the manager assured me that the technicians were absolutely competent. I beg to differ. I told the manager that I felt replacing the phone with a comparable one was in order on their part. I don’t care if it was new or refurbished. Samantha May responded with an emphatic No. She offered to look at the phone again if I brought it in. I responded with«thanks but no thanks». Ended up taking the phone to Mr Phix near Mayfaire. Although the phone had been rendered useless by CPR Phone Repair, Mr Phix techs were very knowledgeable and refused to take any money for unsuccessfully trying to repair the phone. We now have a nice, shiny Nokia Lumia 920 doorstop. Since this incident with CPR Phone Repair I have had many friends and acquaintances relay bad experiences with this business that they themselves had. If you like your phone and appreciate having your patronage valued by a business DONOT take your phone to CPR Phone Repair. Take it to Mr. Phix at Howe Landing.
