Been to the new one in Elsmere. Love the Turkey Gobbler sub. Wheelchair accessible ramp is to the right of the front of store. Will move this review to Elsmere location after they are in Unilocal

This place smells like decaying meat. It looks dirty. Employees are rude. Won’t be returning!

Very dirty and unsanitary… rude workers… if you can stand all this and the bugs… go for it. If anything the place is good for picking up a powerball ticket… no way I’d eat anything out of there…

Stopped in here for some subs on a Sunday night. They are open late which is nice since alot of the sub places around close early. We had a coupon for the Italian from The Clipper magazine but I had not realized it expired. My fault for not looking. We got 2 Italians and 1 turkey. They had a good bit of meat on them and the rolls were nice and fresh. Sometimes they are a little fiesty in there but this time really nice. The turkey sub was fantastic. Could have used a little more may on it. Had asked for sweet peppers on one sub and hot on the other but we didn’t get any peppers on either one which was disappointing. I will return next time with a non expired coupon and also am happy to know they now take credit and debit cards.

I just went for the first time because my coworker told me their lunchmeat is reasonably priced plus I had coupons from the clipper magazine. Well when I first walked in the door all I smelled was mold. The place was dirty and against my better judgement I got 20 dollars worth of lunchmeat and cheese. When I got home I made a sandwich and all of the meat I purchased felt slimy and after eating my stomach had not been feeling well the rest of the weekend and I’m throwing away all 20 dollars worth! That was the first and last time I will ever go to this place, disgusting!

This place is your average country maid. I lived next to Jack’s for several years and before snow storms, I’d hit this store up. It would be a mad house, but much better than grocery stores during a snow storm. If you’re from Delaware, than you know what I’m talking about. The news warns up about a couple inches and everyone goes nuts and hoards food like it’s going out of style. The lunch meat is good here and I love this oreo dessert they have. The hoagies are quite tasty and are packed with meat. The breakfast sandwiches are only $ 2.39 and are excellent! Sometimes I question the people making the food, and I hate to be one of «those people» but I like to watch them make my food. I never order over the phone, because sometimes they tend to not wear gloves after they handle cash. So gross. So I make sure to observe and request gloves!

Definitely one of the better deli’s in the area. Subs are freshly made, their turkey is fresh roasted and delicious. And their«Gobbler» sub is a copy of the«Bobbie» from you-know-who…but who cares? It’s great! They have great breakfast sandwiches that are made to order. Scrapple, egg, and cheese on white toast! Heaven on earth.

Want a great Italian sub go to Jack’s!!! The subs have a lot of meat on it and are made to order. You can choose the type of cheeses and customize it anyway you want to. In my opinion, Jack’s has one of the best Italian subs in New Castle County.
