The office staff here, specifically the office manager, Elaine, is a joke. Not only is she incompetent, but the office policy for a new patient is ridiculous. Had a sleep study done and Dr. Hunt is the pulmonologist who was to review the study and take it from there. Received a poorly type-written letter(gramatical errors within) and a handwritten note at the bottom that they called to schedule an appointment, but didn’t reach anyone and to call them back. Appointment was this morning and was turned away because some«packet» wasn’t completed upon arrival. Whatever packet she was referring to was never sent, only the letter. RIDICULOUS! Could it not be someone simply messed up? Oh, no! Not this woman. After arguing with her and telling her several times a packet was never received, she then claimed it was sent in a separate envelope, which also wasn’t true because we only received the letter, she stated, «Well, sir, maybe you should find a different pulmonologist.» If a physician has such incompetent and uncaring staff, chances are that’s the best advice she could give as who knows how good that physician actually is considering who he/she employs! NEXT! UPDATE: Just found out«Elaine» isn’t actually the office manager, yet she claimed she was. JoBeth is the office manager. Wow. Spoke with JoBeth and was informed that others have claimed that as well, but it doesn’t matter because this is Dr. Hunt’s policy and has been for the past 20 years. Obviously he’s an idiot.
