Cinder Ridge is a solid golf course. I play the Channahon golf course, which is also very good.
Pros:
— Well kept
— Excellent value /​cost
— Well designed course
— quiet
— scenic
The only con is the location. It’s another 15 minutes south of I-​80, but worth the drive.

This was my second time here as a treat from our boss. The course was great. There are some real pretty sights to the whole course. Hole 16 is the most challenging par 3 I’ve hit. I would like to see the PGA big boys and girls play here. Lastly the water jugs they have for you on a few of there holes are old and uninviting. But the water was so cold and awesome! Hope to see you you out there again.
