If you’re in a hurry but don’t like eating deep fried garbage you need to come here! Tons of healthy vegan and vegetarian options. I highly recommend the sofrita bowl, even if you love eating meat and hate the thought of «tofu» you will love this stuff!

Today our food was awesome! We both had bowls, with chicken and guacamole… pretty much everything but sour cream… the chicken had great flavor, everything was fresh and it was one of the biggest bowls I’ve ever had, at any of the chipotles. The staff was smiling, laughing and putting tons of delicious food in our bowls as we moved on down the line. Thank you for a great lunch guys.

Food is pretty standard chipotle but this location has terrible staff for some reason? Just incompetent. I think they could probably use some more training or better management

Stale chips, burnt chicken, poorly wrapped burrito. Got my order wrong. Overcharged me for a kids meal. Not good. Chipotle needs to do some serious quality control at this location.

Ok so an update, After moving closer to town my wife loves this place so naturally I eat it a lot more than before. They have gotten their act together and is so much better than before. We go once every other week know. The chicken burrito hits the spot every-time!

The food is fine. Their portions aren’t as generous as some of the other Chipotle locations but that’s not my issue. My problem is that every time I use the online ordering system at this location my food is never ready on time. I shouldn’t have to wait 10 minutes to get my food after the scheduled pickup time, especially when I’m on a time-sensitive lunch or dinner break. When it’s faster to stand in line and order, that defeats the whole purpose of the online ordering system.

Until recently, this Chipotle was the first and only store to open in Wilmington, NC. So it could get crazy busy, especially around lunchtime. I think since they have opened the new store in Mayfaire, the crowds are not quite as bad. I always order my meals online(website and phone app are easy to use) and swing in to pick them up at the counter. I never have to wait very long, and the staff is super friendly. My only beef is that the prices are a little steep. I’m not a big fan of having to pay $ 2 extra for guac, but I do it anyway because it is delish!

What happened to Chipotle? Used to be sooo good, even my kids would clammer for it. Now at this location anyway, it was just plain boring, and chips were stale. I got 3 tacos, barbacoa was good, but chicken and steak were unrecognizable flavor. Corn salsa looked old, and tasted the same. Chipotle really needs to check up on their franchisees. Or is this place owned by Macdonald’s? Plus the price gauging is offensive. They charge for chips now, which are stale and skimpy. $ 7.50 margarita? Please. and their prices went up to boot on all entrees. Man, Chiptole sure screwed up a good thing they had going. Chatty staff, took my experience from bad to worse. Really people, I don’t care about your personal life, I just want a frigin taco.

Amazing! I’ve been sick the past few weeks from surgeries and their rice is one of the only things I can eat! We have been here many times! Our favorites are the burrito bowl with chicken and the cilantro lime rice! I love that the prices are cheaper than Moes but I guess it evens out since there isn’t free unlimited salsa and chips(the only reason it only gets 4 stars!)

Food was pretty good. They piled on the toppings except for meat. They were a bit stingy with meat. Aside from the meat I think the serving size is good for a meal. I felt the meal was priced high for a single burrito and a drink, just under 10. Service was good, not great. Most workers were polite and chipper. Overall, I liked the food. The price will keep me from visiting more often.

Being from ohio, where we have chipotle within walking distance most of the time, I have become a chipotle addict, so when my friends and I went on vacation on Holden beach, North Carolina I was very upset to find out that the closest chipotle was an hour away. But that has never stopped me from my one true love so I made he trip. This chipotle is very small in size. Also another thing that they are small in are portions. When I go to chipotle in ohio, I can expect to walk out with a solid 2 lb burrito. This chipotle was not even near that. It felt extremely awkward but my friend and I had to continually say can I have more rice more than once or twice but legitimately with every item we got on our burrito. The reason why I have given this chipotle a 3 star instead of the 2 the food deserved was only because of their diet coke. I have been in a committed relationship for about a decade now with diet coke and hands down this is the best diet coke that I have ever had. The diet coke was extremely cold out of the fountain. I’m surprised that I didn’t see little slush chunks from it being partially frozen. Also the syrup to water ratio was on point. And it had the perfect amount if carbonation. I seriously have never had a diet coke better than the one I had on this day. I cannot stress how delicious this diet coke was. Everyday I consider driving the 11 hours to Wilmington just so that I can have this diet coke again. So basically chipotle is chipotle but this one has diet coke straight from god.

I have just recently been to Chipotle, and I have to say, I don’t really understand the hype. I thought it was pretty good(I will pretty much eat at any Mexican place, minus Taco Bell), but there are definitely better Mexican places out there. I did not think it was as flavorful as it could have been. I got chicken tacos with some salsa, guac, and lettuce. I prefer Qdoba, if we’re talking about chains(but Wilmington currently does not have one). When in Wilmington, I would rather go to Flaming Amy’s or El Cerro Grande than Chipotle.

First of all, the food here is amazing. Everything is fresh and delicious and they have THE best guacamole this Cali girl has ever eaten. My 2-star rating is for this actual restaurant’s design. I’ve eaten at Chipotle across the country and this is one of the smallest ones I’ve seen, if not the smallest — it’s a tie with Washington D.C. So small, they didn’t have room for individual tables, so it’s cafeteria style rows of long tables. I don’t like bumping elbows with the guy next to me, nor do I like eating so close to others in general. Also, I thought I had scored with a coveted end-of-the-table seat, but it may have actually been the worst seat possible since the line to order wraps around all the tables and everyone in line was literally inches from me and got to watch me take every bite. Not an enjoyable experience at all. Oh, yes, they do have tables outside, but since it was 38 degrees outside, that wasn’t really a viable option. Next time I’ll get my order to go.

No doubt there are many of you who will go into the Chipotle Mexican Grill and wonder why I rated it two stars. It is one step above McDonald’s in the eyes of some. I’m sure that’s a big win. The ambience Dirty bits of food everywhere you can see the remnants of everyone’s meal either left behind or in the form of kernels of rice and corn left with crumpled napkins and forks at every abandoned table not too appealing I was astounded that there were so many staff people ignoring each other and the customers during the serving and eating experience. Very dehumanizing to be served, but be treated by an automaton like you are invisible, while slopping your food onto the taco, the ingredients, carnitas dragged along the servers counter top like entrails from a recent dear gutting. The server didn’t care, neither did the person who rang up my order. Just move the heck along… evidenced by their mantra printed on the side of their cups. The heck with customer service eh? Why does the food taste so good? I imagine the food is lit up to taste so amazing because it is amped up with flavor enhancers. How can i tell for sure? My tongue lit up like a christmas tree as I am hyper sensitive to MSG and the like. Would I go back again? Nope.

Just average. Good if you’re not able to make a lot of choices about your food. The toppings are limited. Moe’s has a much better selection of entrée choices and more options to customize your meal. Flaming Amy’s is still #1 in the Wilmington area.
