Really awesome brewery! Its small but filled with great people and brews. They have two separate lounge type rooms to hangout out in. The staff was fun and energetic. This place his a hidden gem ticked off of market road. Be sure to stop by and grab a brew and if you get hungry there a food truck to fill you up.

Broomtail is tucked away in a little industrial area off of Highway 17 in North Wilmington and is a smaller facility with really good beers. I got a sampler of four beers(3IPA’s and a brown ale). This was my kind of place, good IPA’s and a relaxed atmosphere. Broomtail was really friendly and accommodating. The staff working that day definitely made me feel like I was welcome. It was also nice that I bumped into a few folks from the Outer Banks too. Don’t let the location or storefront fool you, this place has some quality beers.

This place does everything right. Great place to relax, right now IMO best micro in Wilmington and on a par with most of what Asheville offers. Did I mention our dog loves this place, where she is most welcome!

Terrific little brewery and their beer is really good. Nice little outdoor space in the parking lot, under the shade trees. I gave it only four stars because I’ve been there when it rains and it’s not only small, but there’s very limited seating inside, which becomes a problem when it’s bad weather.

Had such a fantastic experience at this brewery. Really good beer and friendly people. The Grazon saison and Bierre de Garde are must haves.

This is a great mini micro brewery with a broad range of fresh brews for whatever you are in the mood for. It’s a clean and friendly place with some seating inside and some outdoor seating in front. If your in Wilmington or out in the Ogden area drop by and hello and enjoy one of their great beers.

This is a small brewery but it is a friendly place and they have great beer. Unfortunately, I arrived two days after Christmas and they were out of 3 of their low gravity beers. However, they still have plenty on tap for me to try. The beers I was able to same here were Moe-Beer — an easy drinking brown named after their dog; Rappe — an Imperial Stout; Jus Saying — an Imperial IPA; Smashing Grapefruit — An Imperial Pale Ale; and Elysium — a Belgium style beer. Of those my favorite was the Jus Saying but they were all good beers. The brewery itself is in an industrial park. They have a small bar with 4 kegorators used for the beer. Off to the right are two rooms with comfortable seating and there are 2 pub tables in the bar area. The staff was really great here. Everyone was really friendly. Definitely will return the next time I am in Wilmington.

Some of the friendliest people and hands down the very best beers you can find in Wilmington! Barry, the head brewer, is a perfectionist and it really shows in the quality, taste and variety of the ales that they put out. A small but very popular family-run local hangout. As they have a focus on distribution, they are only open Thursday through Sunday(as of this writing) but you can find their beers at other places around town. They periodically have food via food trucks, cookouts and music but the focus is on the beer. Crowd is a real laid-back mix of locals, out of towners, professionals, blue collar, retirees, students and bikers of the motorized and un-motorized variety.

The bartender high fived me when I walked in the door and made one of the regulars move so my wife and I could sit at the bar. Beat that! I ordered a flight and it did not let me down. I especially enjoyed the IPA and darker beers they made! Small, cozy spot tucked away in a business park area. Cool spot.
