A-1 Safe & Lock

Worst locksmith in town. I Bought a very expensive car key there. The guy had to read the manual and he told me I was the first customer to ever buy an electronic car key there. I had to buy the key up front before they ordered it when I got the key it was Mitsubishi key and I have a Dodge. They didn’t call to see if that was okay or anything. The key finally opened the door but not with the remote. I could only use it in the door. They wouldn’t give me my money back. I was so angry I had to leave or was going to do something I wold regret. That key also broke within a few months and I went over to the Dodge dealership (which is where I should have gone from the start) and for the same price they got me a DODGE key and all of the buttons worked!

I do not believe I am mistaken. The A1 that I am thinking of is on Carolina Beach Rd across from the fighter plane in front of the VFW and next door to the car wash. If that is wrong I apologize. He has tried to message me and I have responded. When he says «to no avail» he means he didn’t get what he wanted. This absolutely happened. What bothers me now is that instead of trying to fix the situation he is going to call me out as mistaken or a liar. I wrote an unfavorable review of Chic-​fil-​a in Monkey Junction and the manager wrote me a great letter that totally changed my mind. I was convinced that my experience was isolated and he was actually concerned that I was unhappy. A1 manager, I might have changed my review if you had convinced me it was a mistake instead of saying that I was mistaken. To question my integrity in a social media forum seems misguided. Do you have a log of all the electronic keys you have done? I was the first so I should be easy to find.

Had a great experience here. Came to get my mail key copied (Lowes does not do that type of key) and a few house keys. The man working was very friendly and quick! Reasonable prices. Shop looked very well-​organized.
