Willowbrook Ford Kia – Service

This review is for the service center at Willowbrook Ford.
Let me preface by saying I recently bought a $ 40K+ Ford F-​150 from this location, and had a good experience buying. Also, people that were working inside the service center were very nice and accommodating during my visit.
I recently brought my truck in for the first oil change. I am usually not someone who takes my automobile to a dealership service center for an oil change. It was about time, and I had a leak in my driver’s side rear tire. I thought that because I just bought an expensive truck from there, and an extended warranty, that they might just fix the tire for free. I told the gentleman who greeted me to check the tire because I thought there may be a leak, and also that I wanted the basic oil change. The oil change is currently $ 39.99 and includes the filter change, 5 quarts of oil, a tire rotation, fluid top offs, and an inspection. I was completely okay with paying for the oil change. My problem was with the tire.
After waiting awhile, the gentleman who greeted me walked in and told me that the truck was ready. He told me that there was a leak, and that they ended up plugging the tire. I was thinking okay, then he told me the total was $ 84 and some change. I was surprised that they did not consult me before plugging the tire. They charge $ 30 for a plug. I could have taken the tire anywhere else and payed significantly less. I know that discount tire does it for free after buying a $ 500 set of tires from them. I assumed that the place where I bought a $ 40K+ vehicle, would do the same. I ended up paying without argument. I am giving the service center a 2 star rating, and I doubt I will be returning to any Ford service center for future services. I would have put 1 start, but the extra star is for the accommodating lady inside the service center.

Never bought a car here but I took my car for a repair, great technicians fixed it in a day

This review is specifically about the Willowbrook Ford Body Shop. I took my car there after it had been in an accident, as they were a preferred vendor through my insurance company. I got a call from Mark, the head of the shop, and he thoroughly explained what needed to be done. I also worked with Laura, who was very helpful. They take photos of your car during the work so that you can see the progress. The car got done a week earlier than scheduled. When I picked it up, I was not happy with the quality of the work, and really disappointed. I called Mark to let him know, and he gave me A++++ customer service. He thoroughly apologized and I brought the car back in that morning. They redid the questionable parts within a few hours, and he had them deliver the car back to me. He went above and beyond what they needed to do, even fixing some other damage that was unrelated as a courtesy, and they thoroughly cleaned the car.
This is honestly the best customer service I’ve had from anyone in a good while. He took the steps to make sure I was a happy customer, and was so responsive and apologetic for what happened. They fixed everything to my satisfaction, and I would absolutely use them again because of Mark’s service.
