Good for Phở But don’t get the shrimp fried rice it was over $ 10 and it has only 3 pieces of shrimp and buttery white rice.

I agree with most of the reviewers that the food here is a little overpriced compared to typical vietnamese joints(their phở is right around $ 9+, and bahn mi ~$ 6+). But, they do serve quality food, which I definitely appreciate. Their Bahn Mi is my personal favorite(no other places come even near), and their Phở is legit. I have yet to try their Vermicelli, but all my friends love it. This place is also super clean compared to typical Vietnamese restaurants(at least the ones that I’m used to). No complaints about this place other than the price!

Our new favorite dinner place on short notice. I am a big phở fan and have tried making it myself in the past. It’s a lot harder to prepare and time consuming than people know. They have generous servings and we always have to bring home leftovers. The prices are very reasonable.

Heard good things about Phở & Beyond in Willow Grove, and was happy to have the chance to try it out. It is on the first floor of a newish commercial strip off Davisville Road. Entry from front and rear. The décor is simple/comfortable Asian. The menu is fairly complete for Vietnamese cuisine, with everything from phở to com, banh mi, and even bun bo hue. Service was friendly, if a little lagging. While I admit to enjoying my Phở Ga(Chicken Noodle Soup), the taste of the Phở Tai(Beef Noodle Soup with Ribeye Steak), and the Bahn Mi Mem Nurong with BBQ Pork patty, the entire experience was blown up by the realization that some part of my meal had been doused with MSG, leaving me with an allergic reaction that felt like a mild hangover, without the alcohol. True. MSG is a traditional part of Vietnamese and other kitchens, used to cover up stale meats and«enhance» flavor. I guess that is what they mean when they talk about, «…authentic Vietnamese cuisine based on family secret recipes, techniques, and skills…» on their website. Sorry to say, one of your secret techniques is out. You really should find a better way that doesn’t make customers ill, or at least warn customers that MSG is used in the kitchen. Clean bathrooms.

The spring roll appetizer with the peanut sauce is delicious! The House Special Vermicelli is amazing, my all time favorite entrée. Love this place!

Love the phở here. This place is always packed! I have waited up to 30 minutes to be seating but the food comes out pretty fast! It’s a nice place to go on a rainy day.

Food is fresh and so good. I love this place. I went to pick up food for my mom on Mother’s Day and had 2 ordered 2 green tea ice creams and didn’t have enough; the manger came out and said to my mom happy Mother’s Day and gave us both. My mom found this place and we’ve been getting take out over a dozen times and never disappointed.

The food is quite delicious and the variety of food they offer is wide. The price for phở is reasonable. The portion for phở was large and my company and I enjoyed our food. The staff was friendly and customer oriented. The place was clean and well-maintained. We were pleased with our meals and the customer service.

This is a cute little place nestled in an unassuming strip mall(like all places seem to be in Bucks County). I am pretty impressed by this Vietnamese place. So far, it’s my favourite in Bucks. Their phở and soup noodles are excellent. The broth is really good, and all the ingredients are fresh. They don’t skimp out on the meat, either. The spring rolls are actually summer rolls, so expect them to be soft and room temp — they don’t actually have proper spring rolls. However, they are very tasty, and rolled well, accompanied by the perfect peanut sauce. Their clay pot fish is a little on the salty side, but still delicious. I was not impressed by the banh mi, but they were OK. Note that the parking lot is small and can get quite full!

If you want legit Vietnamese food, I’d suggest going to Chinatown rather than the overpriced food served out of the city. This place is WAY overpriced and I think they try too hard. It’s kind of like an upscale Vietnamese restaurant but most Vietnamese restaurants only care about the food, which is typically cheap($ 6-$ 7) for a bowl of phở but I think it was $ 9+ here. My BF is a big fan of the lemongrass chicken, but he’s not Vietnamese so he doesn’t know what REAL lemongrass chicken tastes like. It was alright to me, not something I would order. I ordered the«Bun Thit Nuong» which is just rice noodles with egg rolls and meat of choice. I liked it but there wasn’t enough egg rolls or meat and I was left with so much noodles. The service was good, it wasn’t extremely busy. I don’t think I’d come here because it’s too expensive for what you get.

How convenient is it that two of my favorite things that lure me out of the city — Homegoods and Vietnamese Food — are located within minutes of each other? How did I go so many years without noticing Phở & Beyond tucked in the tiny strip mall across the street from Homegoods? The small parking lot in front almost dissuaded us, but we discovered a large lot in the rear, with a rear entrance to the restaurant. On our first visit — looking for just a quick pick-me up to fuel us for the great HomeGoods forage — we just had the bbq chicken wings and Phở(beef soup). The place was busy mid-afternoon on a weekend, with a number of diners who seemed to be regulars. We were satisfied with our small taste and look forward to returning to try more items on the menu.

Lunch here with a friend was delicious. My only complaint is the service. There appeared to be many regulars that had great service, but ours was subpar. The joint in tight and busy, but for a Saturday at lunch nobody seemed to wait long. My last gripe was the parking lot. Tight with limited parking. Even with all that 4 stars. The food saves the place by being a solid 5 stars. I had vegetable soup and iced Vietnamese coffee. Both were excellent. I do wish that condiments were on the table because I wanted some, yet nobody came to check on me. My friend got curry and she really enjoyed hers too. I would go back for the food, but if the bad service continued, I might find somewhere else to go. Overall, I felt happy that there were so many vegetarian options and that the item I got was so flavorful, which is rarer for vegetarian food.

Our waiter was super nice and he remembered me from the last time we were here. He also knows what we ordered last time. Super nice and very clean. The service is fast and the food is always hot and very delicious. My mom orders the rib eye phở and its soo good. We also order pork hoagie no hot because we dnt like the jalapeños in the hoagie its too hot for us. I wish there was more pork but its a good amount it just taste soo good and always want more. I also get number 38 no peanuts and no chicken. I like the grilled pork better. They also have fresh toppings for your phở which is always nice

I think they own a Phở place on Washington Ave in Philadelphia… I’ve seen a lot of the same employees. The Phở Tai is good. More expensive than what you will get downtown, but excellent taste for the suburbs. The banh mi is ok. I really like the spring rolls… love that taro. The Grilled Pork Patty Rolls are good too.

Love phở and beyond — we travel a little farther just to get it. My favorite is Bún bò Hu, but my bf always gets the deluxe phở. I also really like their pork banh mi. Overall it’s a nice little Vietnamese place that is pretty intimate, but their food is great.

Food — 4 stars Service — 3 stars I happened to be in town on a work trip, and found this place through Unilocal.Who knew there were Asian people — VIETNAMESE! in this part of PA. Color me happy. It took them 20 minutes from time I was acknowledged at the front door to the time I received my food. Luckily, the saving grace was their BBH — Bun Bo Hue(spicy beef noodle soup). The broth was delicious, flavorful and SPICY! And the noodles were cooked to the perfect springy, chewiness — al dente. It surprised me that they didn’t serve pig feet with the noodle soup(this is standard in BBH). It had brisket, cha lua(Vietnamese ham) and thin slices of the same beef in Phở(round eye roast) The vegetable plate was a little lacking though — couple pieces of basil, beansprouts, jalapeño, lime. They also had lettuce and celery which I thought was odd(and a bit cheap IMHO as it is not usually provided with restaurant BBH). The restaurant was slammed during dinner service, therefore the service was subpar. I had to ask twice for a straw, and had to ask for the check(even though I sat there waiting, staring at other patrons dining and checking my phone). The noodle soup is good enough for me to come back again, but maybe during lunch or at a less happenin’ hour.

My wife and I eat here often, and I think that it is a good sign that they are busy everyday of the week. The restaurant is clean, bright, and attracts a diverse crowd. The service is usually pretty attentive as well. The Phở is always hot and tasty. It has a homemade flavor and the add-ins are always fresh. We also enjoy the House Special Vermicelli.

Who would’ve guessed — great quality Vietnamese place in the burbs. The phở is a must here — clean broth, quality products, just excellent. And the grilled pork roll(nem nuong cuon) is the best I’ve ever had. What Phở and Beyond gets an A+ for is presentation. All their food looks to be prepared perfectly, and you can tell the chef takes his time compiling your dish. The reason I can’t give this five stars is because of tripe. I love tripe in my phở, but phở and beyond doesn’t carry it. I still order phở every time though, since the broth is that good. I’ve done takeout here plenty of times, and dining here is also just as nice. So definitely check it out if you get the chance, dine in or takeout.

Quintessential, 4-star restaurant. Very authentic broth, servers and cooks are clearly Vietnamese. Everyone is pleasant and efficient. You can get in and out of here in 30 minutes or 60, depending on how like you’d long to savor the food. The décor is fairly sparse, but everything is very clean and it’s neat that they’re situated adjacent to an old-school bakery should you have a hankering for sweets after your savory meal. They start you off by bringing a large plate of bean sprouts and spices, which were all very fresh. They have the traditional two sauces, spicy and sweet, as well. We started with Vietnamese spring rolls. These were good, not great. I wasn’t blown away with the spices, and feel they were a little light on the anise and cilantro. The lettuce was similar to GIANT-brand bagged shredded lettuce, so felt they skimped a bit here. The shrimp were okay, not quite large enough compared to some other Vietnamese places I have checked out. There are a few pieces of shaved pork, as well. The dipping sauce was peanut and was good, but I like when they put a touch of spicy sauce on the side with it. ;) The phở, however, was great. It’s served in giant plastic bowls, which isn’t the classiest option but works. The most critical component, the broth, is especially flavorful and authentic. That pushes this restaurant from a 3 to 4-star rating. Rice noodles are cooked correctly, if a little on the ramen side for me(not sure how to explain it). My DP had the Phở Deluxe with the brisket and meatball, and I tried a Seafood Phở to get the best of both worlds. The Deluxe had a very rich sauce, although I wouldn’t say the meat was the highest quality(not that one would expect that for $ 10-$ 12). The Seafood Phở came with a wide assortment of seafood, squid, imitation crab, shrimp, and quail egg! Both were extremely delicious with a rich assortment of spices, tastes, and textures. Prices are very reasonable, and portions large. In summary: Environment — 4⁄5 Service — 4⁄5 Broth — 5⁄5 Noodles — 4⁄5 Garnishments — 5⁄5 Sauce — 5⁄5 Spring Rolls — 3⁄5 Extras — 4⁄5
