I have been in management and in sales all my life. I know rules are rules but there are cases where a management decision that doesn’t cause any loss in revenues and does make a customer who already spent a lot of money there very happy can make all the difference. I was there the day before a sale was starting — buy 2 charms get one free .They graciously told me about it but said I had to come back the next day for the free charm. I explained that I was leaving on a trip and could not return the next day. I could return the next week. They were not willing to make any exception. Poor management decision. I will no longer shop in that store.
