This place is great. They have a very nice produce section as well as all the organic/all natural food items that you may want. They also have different days where they give out free food samples(I have yet to make it to one). Will definitely return.

This is my neighborhood health food and supplies store. They are always knowledgeable and willing to answer questions and offer suggestions. They give discounts for Seniors, health professionals, etc., but you need to ask. I actually order something in bulk and an even lesser cost. Good neighborhood store.

I am so thrilled to have found Nature’s Harvest. And when I say«found» I mean«my wife told me about it.» Very vegan friendly health food store. I particularly like the vegan sandwiches they sell including the vegan crabby patty sandwich I have only found at Kimberton Whole Foods previously. Additionally, the raw lasagna they have in the prepared meals fridge is top-top notch. Some items are expensive but overall this is a great local alternative to Whole Foods!

There are a number of health food/vitamins/beauty product stores in the Philadelphia area, however I have yet to visit one as knowledgeable, friendly, and supportive of local businesses as this one.

I wish that more people would shop here so that they could lower their prices a bit. I am a frequent shopper of Nature’s Harvest. They carry more vitamins, supplements, health and beauty items than any other small health food store I have been to. And, they somehow manage to fit a small grocery in there too! They carry many raw and gluten free items. They also carry local produce and local dairy. If you are an egg eater, grab a dozen eggs they carry from a local farm. They are amazingly fresh and taste perfect. The staff is super helpful. Take advantage of their knowledge! It’s hard to find a place this special these days.

This is a great little health food store with a variety of foods, vitamins, and personal care products. As a vegetarian health nut I feel like a kid in a candy store every time I walk in! They are a bit pricey, but that’s to be expected for a Ma and Pa health food store, and they do have reasonable sales. They stock all organic produce, which is local when in season and fair-trade when possible. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, although I have to say I was rather annoyed when one of them decided to lecture me about veganism(the staffmember is vegan, I am not). I found it inappropriate, but that’s the only negative experience I’ve had there, and I’ve been shopping there off and on for several years now.

Love this store. Has items that you can’t really find anywhere else. The staff is very helpful. Love just walking around the store and trying to pick up ideas for creative vegan meals. The wall of vitamins is a bit intimidating but if you ask, they will answer. Worth the trip if your coming from afar.

Since I used to own two independent health food stores back in Boston, I’m a bit prejudiced when I visit a locally owned store. But even the most seasoned Whole Foods veteran would be impressed with the selection and prices at Nature’s Harvest in Willow Grove. While a small store, it crams a lot into it’s square footage. And their selection of locally produced foods and products warms the heart. If you can’t find anything, they do special orders and by the look of the amount of bags on the special order shelf, they do a brisk business. The Horizon Café used to be next door, so this was a great one two punch of shopping and dining the healthy green way. But since the Horizon moved to Center City, Nature’s Harvest is on its own. The manager told me they are one of the last independently owned stores in the Philly area. They are a dying breed, which is sad. But they’re going strong, and I say«huzzah!’
