Menchie’s

Only been there twice and probably won’t go back. Overpriced for the amount of frozen yogurt you actually get. I mean if it’s a cost thing, get rid of some toppings and lower your prices. I understand most people in Willoughby/​Willoughby Hills area consider themselves rich and are able to afford this several times a month, so it’s actually a great location for the yuppies out there.

Menchie’s is what it is. Overpriced soft-​serve with a decent toppings selection.
Now this past visit was enough not to have be back for a while. There have been at least three times I passed it and thought sounds good; then my experience hit me in the face and I was like no, I’m good.
So I went in by myself one evening, before going to a movie at Regal Cinema Willoughby (which I just reviewed). There is one table of two women and a single guy at another table. PERFECT. It is quiet and I will throw in my headphones, enjoy a treat and watch some youtube until it is movie time. Well 4 of the soft serve machines would not dispense, from most desired by me to least. So I selected Vanilla which is not what I wanted but I am here right? So I mention very nicely to the manager (I am assuming because she appeared to be working alone) that hey those flavors xxx are empty. I was nice, I even got something else so it was a heads up. And boy the attitude and look. They are not empty sometimes they don’t dispense and the contents needs to be stirred. I am thinking for one I don’t work here, so I did not know that. Secondly you DO work here so why are we discussing this? AND THREE… I just said (Very nicely) that I had to select something that I did not want why not say hey lets get rid of this one, I will go fix those suckers so you can get what you would like to have.
Anyway I left feeling like I was the a**hole. I mean really? I don’t know maybe she was having a bad day So I threw away like 11.00 on a bowl I consumed less than half of because at this point I was not very happy. Maybe I should have let her know how displeased I was but I elected to just leave. Everyone has a bad day so why make her day worse; and MINE. That and how mad can you get about the wrong flavor of soft serve?

Go there every chance I get great family place who doesn’t love ice cream with all the toppings of your choice!

Very disappointing. One of the worst yogurt experiences of my life. It was a little dirty inside and the yogurt was mediocre. The tart actually tasted a little rancid.
I have been to Menchie’s before in other cities and this place does not compare at all. I really get the sense that the owners do not care or do something to cut corners on quality.
On the plus side, the toppings were decent quality.
I would avoid this place and make the drive to the nearest Mitchell’s if you are in the mood for frozen dairy.

Always yummy, had the red velvet yogurt topped with white chocolate chips and marshmallow sauce. The do cakes now!

What can i say nothing is better then mixing frozen yogurt and candy and other stuff together. And they have a patio
