I love this place, keeps it simple with fresh, choice of local thick cuts of meat. Very friendly staff that remembers you forever. Very large wine selection that they will help you discover along with incredible sandwiches and a sandwich club! They use bores head meat along with Cabot cheddar, it just doesn’t get any better if you’re looking for a great cut of meat and seafood or wine, or even a sandwich here. Love this place.

This place is a quality deli and market all in one. Went here for lunch on a recent Vermont vacation. I had the Vermonter, my boyfriend had the Woodchuck. Both sandwiches were excellent(especially loved the banana peppers on the Woodchuck — what a perfect combination with roast beef!) and a great value. We each got a 6″ and it was more than enough. Some delis really skimp on the meat — not this place. Customer service was super friendly and helpful. We also picked up some awesome Plymouth Cheese from their shop, which has a wide selection of wine, cheese, and gourmet food items. Can’t wait to come back to pick up some of the fresh seafood.

Solid, solid solid. What else can I say. These guys have have top quality products, great service and they are truly proud of what they do. By the way their sandwiches are the best around trust me! I’ve had every sandwich shop in a 5 mile radius and they are the best hands down. Don’t waste your time or money on any place else.

They carry Boar’s Head cold cuts!!! I never see Boar’s Head in Vermont and I was thrilled to find it here! I was just recently able to put together some killer Italian lettuce wraps(avoiding carbs) with some BH salami, ham, and provolone. No capicola, but the salami was good enough for me. The guys behind the counter are always so welcoming and friendly. I’ve been offered free bread at the end of the day to take home, but, alas, my protein-heavy diet will not allow for that at the moment. It was hard to say no to those fresh-baked rolls… I’ve also had fresh and delicious ground beef, steaks, and scallops. Haven’t gone wrong with anything from this place. It’s becoming a regular stop for me. Also available is a decent wine selection and a few veggies and other items to add to your meal. It would be more cost-effective to get your other groceries elsewhere, but it’s nice to have options if I don’t feel like stopping at another store.

If you want the best filet mignon — fresh from a great meat market… run quickly to this place, be ready to pay a high(yet worth the extra bit) price, and then spark up the grill and have a better than 5 star steakhouse feast. Ask for the«LaPlatte River Angus Center Cut Filet Mignon» and you will return again and again if you love melt in your mouth steak.

Happened upon this place by pure chance. I wasn’t expecting such a great sandwich in Williston. Service was friendly, genuine and top notch. Very nice selection of wine to boot. I didn’t buy any meat or seafood but it all looked amazing– I will be back. Did I mention how good the sandwich was?

A hidden gem of Williston. It’s a decently sized deli /corner market that carries gourmet items with a local emphasis. Unlike Healthy Living or City Market, which heavily focus on local, organic items, this store is more of a boutique that showcases unique items that are moderately priced and taste really great. The staff here are super friendly and attentive. They are very enthusiastic and extremely knowledgeable about the items the store stocks. The deli selection is excellent. They carry house-made deli items that taste great, and most of all, well priced e.g. pasta salad 5.99/lb. The pre-marinated chicken, pork, and beef here are incredible. They also have a wide selection of steak meats that are both local and from far away. The store has a large variety of items that are great for BBQs e.g. laplatte gourmet burgers. I think the best part about this store is that the prices are actually fair. Unlike some of the«upscale» shops around Burlington with uncontrollable mark-ups, everything here is priced well. Their wine and beer selection is excellent too. While there’s nothing ridiculously exotic, they have a pretty good selection of microbrews from around the country. They also sell coke in glass bottles. Summary –Good price –Friendly service –Great quality meat –Plenty of parking –Takes AMEX –No hippy vibe

Love this place! Blue cheese burgers are incredibly good. I really like the fact that they offer local options for meat and their other products. Ultimately you could buy something with any budget and come home to grill tasty food!

Huge, delicious sandwiches can be found here at lunchtime. Their hand made cook-at-home burgers are amazing. They also have a really nice wine selection. Plus, the guys running the front end are super helpful. I’m so happy that this spot is near my office.

I love them, I LOVETHEMSOMUCH!!! A Vermontopia coupon brought me in and I have not bought meat in a grocery store since. We pretty much stopped eating meat regularly so that we could afford to come here a few times a month. Get the Maple Steak Tips, some seaweed salad, and a mini pie and you’ll never go anywhere else. They can get you anything, just ask. They also go the extra mile in that they’ll not only prepare stuff for you, but they’ll also toss it on their George Foreman grills or steamers for you. Super friendly, super awesome, just do it.

Best source in the area for seafood. Not only do they have the widest selection of fish, the quality is well above other seafood outlets in the area. We have been regular customers for months now and have been very happy with their fish.

I found this place shortly after they opened and a Vermontopia deal(thanks guys!) brought me in more frequently. I have tried a variety of their meats and seafoods and am happy to report that Vermont Meat and Seafood fills a void in the Williston area. I don’t buy seafood from the local chain grocery stores as I worry about the quality of foods that are portrayed as being«fresh». Everything at Vermont Meat and Seafood is quite fresh, with fish deliveries on Tuesdays and Fridays of every week and local meats coming in all the time. They also have a nice selection of vegetables, side dishes, wine, and specialty beers. A number of the meats are also marinated so you only have to mindlessly start the oven or grill when you get home. The owners are friendly and they are there all the time. I feel quite welcome when I am shopping there. The price is align with what you will pay for local meats in this area but it’s worth it to support local businesses. A Vermontopia deal may have brought me in but I will no doubt be frequenting this business as there are so many things to love about it!
