Not a fan… My boyfriend and I were not impressed by the food. Our waitress seemed high, like off her rocker, trying to remember her name. Our service was sub par.

The problem is… I came from Cali. Cali has the best Mexican food outside of Mexico! Went for lunch, chips and salsa was served with a sode of cabbage slaw. Chips were okay, needed a little salt but salsa was good. Slaw lacked flavor. Ordered chicken tortilla soup. Tasted like roasted tomato/roasted pepper soup; I didnt like it. Had the tostada salad with shredded beef. Not bad. Id go back again.

Great food can’t beat it. I had fish tacos after owner recommended them to me and they were delicious. The place wasn’t to busy with people so we got our food pretty quick.

My favorite place for Mexican in Williston. I love chorizo, they even made some stuff that wasn’t on the menu for me, super fresh, very delicious! Always fast at refilling drinks, cleaner than Don Pedro’s in my opinion. Harder to park at, but it’s worth it.

Even if the food is great(hasn’t arrived yet) it’s way overpriced, even for Williston ND. Beer is cold, chips and salsa are good. Ok, food is here. Wow, was not aware that a blender should be involved in making guacamole. Apparently it is here. Otherwise the shredded beef taco and enchilada, rice and beans is good. Décor and atmosphere are acceptable. I’d have to call Don Pedro’s by far the better MR here in Williston. Not even a close contest. One thing I noticed is ¾ of the entrees here at Los Compadres have mushrooms. Clearly the cook or owner is a mushroom freak. If that’s you also, this is your place. Enjoy. As for me, this will be a one time visit.

This is the second time my wife and I have been here. My wife got steak fajitas which she very much enjoyed. She likes the extra vegetables they put in there. This time we brought the kids. The service was great and friendly staff. The salsa and chips are fresh. I got the burrito both times I went and it didn’t disappoint. I like spicy so I ordered some grilled jalapeños on the side to give some extra kick. The burrito itself though is all the great things about Mexican in one flour tortilla. The flavors marry well together for just the right taste. Hard to find a place authentic in North Dakota but this is one is a good bet. We will definitely be back.

Not very good food here. Enchilada sauce tastes like ravioli sauce. WAY overpriced wish there was a decent place for«good» mexican food here.

I won’t be back for a while or possibly ever. The quality and service have gone down… My wife and I used to be monthly regulars in the past. Freezing cold wind whenever someone opens the front door doesn’t help the dining experience. My food had the texture of sitting out for a long time before it was served.
