Grazers is a great place to catch a pretty good burger and fries before a movie at majestic 10. My first time there was fantastic. I got the BBQ burger(now I get each time) it was cooked perfect and it was one of the best I have ever had. But sometimes places can be too perfect. The past 3 times it has been mediocre or just bad. We went there for our anniversary and my burger was burnt, just black. Third time there: Bacon was solid and burger was cold. Now for the worst and one of the final times I will go there. Went there on a double date with my brother. The restaurant was steady but not busy. Once again I ordered the same burger. I asked for well-done. When it arrived 45min later with the other 3 burgers. My brothers girlfriends and I burger was raw in the middle and cold. Bacon had solid parts to where it felt like my teeth were about to break. The only good part about that entire meal was the chips and dip and waiting another 20min just to get the check and the waitress not doing anything about the food.

Limited menu of burgers, sandwiches & appetizers… my kind of thing. It’s all local stuff with a good beer selection. The service was good and prices are reasonable.

Love the $ 1 oyster special. The oysters are HUGE! Burgers are great too, I’ve had the lamburger and the farm burger. Upgrade fries to truffle fries, you won’t regret it

Both times I ordered my burger was overcooked, and both times they forgot to include dressing for my side-salad. Mediocre at very best. Poor management — especially at the Stowe location(which the owner abruptly closed without notice to any of his employees, see the WCAX story). Not worth your hard(or easy) earned money.

Decided to come in after skiing on the bank holiday. WOW! We were disappointed at first that we couldn’t have the clam chowder as they were out for the day but it was almost a blessing because we got to try the wings and tortilla soup which bartender Olivia was gracious enough to recommend. Wine recommendation was delicious and my husband called his Old Fashion«phenomenal». We are liking our new home in Vermont more and more now that we have had some opportunities to check out the food scene. Very pleased with the food and especially the service here and we will look forward to returning.

Meal and service were nothing special. My partner enjoyed the barn burner burger. The pickled onions were delicious. The green mountain burger didn’t do it for me and was way overcooked… ordered rare, came medium well. The gravy on the poutine tasted packaged. Service was slow despite the restaurant being pretty empty… staff were giggling and chatting at the front. Glad to check this place off the list… doubtful we’ll return. There are plenty of burger options in Vermont that are much MUCH better and worth the money.

I’ve been there like 4 times. Every time we went it was very pleaseing. We tried the turkey burger, vt, bacon cheeze burger. We thought they we great. The French fries were cooked perfect seasoned good. We will go back again. We want to try their salads. We thought it was a little pricey. But we will pay a little more for fresh organic hand made dinners. Yes we will be back to try other things. Oh the service all the times we have gone has been top notch

Stopped in today after hearing mixed reviews. We were greeted and seated quickly. The updates from previous restaurant were nice. Opened up more space for tall tables along with a large bar area with 2 – 3 TVs. We ordered 2 different burgers, one of them turned out to be unavailable The onions rings were good but the homemade ranch sauce was a very pleasant surprise. Our meals were both as they were ordered and tasted ok. Could have used a little more seasoning or flavor in the vt burger meat itself. Also the pickles on the side had a strange oil which made it a little unappetizing. But all of the food presented very nicely and good portion sizes. Fries were good along with their maple balsamic dressing over the salad greens. I would like to see them with a little more relaxed, natural customer service. I think they tried but seemed a little overwhelmed. Would go back for a quick bite again before a movie.

Went there for a late lunch today with my mom and my wife. We each had a specialty burger made with local beef. They were amazing. Even with all of the toppings you could still taste the, perfectly cooked, burger. Atmosphere and service was also relaxing and spot on!

The number one benefit of this place is its location to the movie theaters. Literally next door. I was hesitant to visit because of the lack luster reviews on Unilocal. But I’m glad I ventured in. They had a large menu and drink selection. I’m guessing folks don’t like the«steep» price tag. But as an out of state visitor, the prices were still quite affordable in my humble opinion. I’m a huge fan of their daily special. On the day I went it was a rich and creamy tomato soup and a decadently cheesy grilled cheese sandwich with basil and thin tomato slices(delightful surprise). I thought the service and staff were friendly and prompt. The place has a corporate hipster vibe feel but it’s also warm and inviting.

Everything housemade… fries, black bean burger, brioche bun, honey mustard sauce. Great little place. Feels like an upscale burger joint with great drink specials. Close to some local shopping. Perfect.

My first time at Grazers but not my last. The sweet potato fries were fresh, plentiful and absolutely delicious! Then came the Poutine which was even better. Man, I thought I had died and gone on to graze in heavenly American fare paradise! The burger was very good too. Not spectacular but certainly above average. Top it all off with a big Switchback and I’m stuffed to the gills and a happy camper. The only minus was the atmosphere and seating. While it was ok, it seemed a bit like a fast food dining room layout. Noise from others was pretty loud. Nice bar area though. But once you’ve got your taste buds wrapped around the fries, who cares about the surroundings. Like the Terminator, I will definitely«be back»!

I have been to Grazers twice and I have enjoyed it each time. The first time I got the quinoa salad which came with spinach, quinoa, feta cheese and some other veggies. I also got sweet potato fries. The salad was very good and a nice size, and the sweet potato fries were awesome. The second time I got the black bean veggie burger which had arugula, avocado, cheddar, tomato and onion. It was one of the better black bean burgers I have tried. The bun was very fresh. The french fries were seasoned well and I really enjoyed the few pickles that came on the side! I usually am not a fan but these were amazing! It is a great spot when you want something simple and well made.

I ate at Grazer’s for the first time tonight and was very impressed. The atmosphere, food, drinks, and service were all great! I had the Bison Burger and my buddy had the Bacon BBQ Burger. We both enjoyed our meals! The drinks were great too! Service was friendly. Not the most elaborate review I’ve written, but this is a great place and I highly recommend it!

We showed up for a late lunch, so there weren’t many people there. They had their lunch special — 2 turkey burger sliders with fries or salad for $ 10. We went with the fries. :-) The turkey sliders were moist and flavorful, with a good amount of cheese. Not sure if they make the buns in house, but they were good too, not a short wimpy buns. The fries were good — maybe a bit over done for my taste, but that’s personal preference. We also got their caprese salad. It was a bit overpriced. $ 9 for 4 slices of tomatoes and 3 slices of mozzarella. They mention they make their dressing in house. It was a bit bland, so it didn’t enhance the dish. Probably skip it next time.

We went here once before and were not impressed. However, they have really grown up, great food. Burger selection was great and perfectly cooked. Salad was great. Milkshake was awesome, but did not bring the boys to the yard. ;) Anyhow, all in all, great place

This place was delicious! I had the VT farm burger — no cheese and Sriracha aioli, lettuce bun with sweet potato fries and a glass of Merlot. My boyfriend had the VTBBQ Bacon Burger with sweet potato fries and a glass of the Trapp beer.(They were out of «it’s complicated being a wizard» but it’s awesome they even had it as an option!) Service was great, people were friendly, atmosphere was great — we sat outside. I must admit it’s hard to please a paleo eater with a burger but I was very impressed! We will definitely be back and I suggest you go too! This 3 star thing is whack. 5 stars for sure :)

My fiancé and I ate at Grazers last night and I have to say it was pretty tasty! We started out with drinks(beer and something called tequila mockingbird) and my drink(the cocktail) was pretty teeny. Just a minor annoyance, if I’m paying $ 9 for a drink, I want it to be slightly larger than 6oz. However, it was well made and yummy so I guess I can’t complain too much about the quality vs quantity thang. We then got the spinach and articoke dip(do it! So good!) and I got the beet burger and my fiancé got the fish sandwich and sweet potato fries. I was extremely happy with my burger, it was cooked well and the goat cheese was a pleasant addition. The homemade bun was also really good but probably could have stood to be toasted(this is probably just me though, I like everything toasted)! Our waiter was really great and attentive, however, it was pretty loud in the restaurant so when I ordered fries, my plate came out with mixed greens because he probably couldn’t hear me. Which, honestly, I’m glad that either the waiter or the kitchen messed up my order because the mixed greens with their vinigrette was delicious! And after all that spinach dip, I needed something that resembled healthy on my plate:-) All in all, very VERY minor bumps in the road, don’t let that deter you– my fiancé and I left happy and stuffed! I will definitely be back!

I don’t know why everyone has given this place low scores… I loved it! Great service! Really awesome, unique(if at some level healthier) food! Several of the staff waited on my at some point, and all were terrific! Liz was a terrific server! The fried baby artichokes as appetizer was new and excellent! I had the Lamburger! OMG! Yum!!! No gamey taste! Just yum! Give them a try! If you already did, try again! I dig the place!

Update: after giving 7 additional visits I’m going to lay it out. I really enjoy the drink menu. It’s worth going at least for that. If you’re looking for a hangout by the movies — Grazers is absolutely fine. Still holding out hope on some of the menu items. I’ve tried half the burgers — sampled anything recommended, and have to say that the Maple BBQ Brisket sandwich is my favorite. Fantastic cucumber salad. Should be a great small dish! Grazer Burger is good, as well as the Beet Salad. The dollar oyster special is good. I also enjoy the VT chili fries. I won’t go into the disappointments because it could be a matter of opinion. Objectively — some of the salads need to be rethought. Quinoa should be light fresh fluffy and vibrant. Rethink your recipe. The menu is perfect and so well thought out — now only if the kitchen executed the standards I think were initially expected.
