A great place overall with all your basic amenities plus more. I got a room for the week that had two queen beds are full kitchenette and ample space for living considering I was here for six days. The rule over all is clean and everything seemed to be in place in the kitchen. It had pots pans and all the utensils that you would need. It included a fridge, dishwasher and microwave. There were outlets everywhere which I am a fan of because of all of the charging needs that one one of these days. The pool and hot tub were surprisingly very clean and The fitness center had a good variety of equipment that met my away from home needs. The place is brand-new and you get that feel immediately once you walk in. There is a nice corner that has a variety of good that you can purchase. The continental breakfast area is fairly large and it has a huge variety of breakfast foods that you can choose from and even offers midday snacks if you’re coming and going throughout the day. The staff was pleasant and helpful whenever I needed them and I would have to say that the only negative thing that I have caught from this point is is that the parking lot as dirty and could be easily taken care of with a street sweeper. I understand that the area gets a lot of snow and sand is needed but it is May now. Considering the area and for the price it is a great value and you won’t be disappointed with the amenities that you get in your room. It is working alarm clock and the TV is a pleasantly large-size flatscreen. The beds were comfortable and the sheets were clean and I felt that the overall room is cared for by housekeeping crew. It is conveniently located by several shopping areas and local restaurants within walking distance. This hotel completely exceeded my expectations.

Let’s discuss what’s important to business travellers, and what this hotel does right and wrong. First, it should be illegal to call your service«high speed wireless» when it’s this bad. This is the worst WiFi I have ever experienced at any hotel. There is a data port inconveniently located across the room from anywhere I might choose to sit(couch, bed, desk, etc…) but if you plug in with a long long ethernet cable, the speed is actually quite nice for a hotel. The tap water is ice cold when you want it to be, and wonderfully hot when you need it to be. A cold drink of water is nice, but this is refrigerator cold on demand, which makes it incredibly nice. The layout of the room is comfortable, but not huge. One person is comfy two would be crowded. The in-room coffee is strong, but terrible tasting. When you travel a lot, you get used to bad bad coffee in rooms, and this is certainly not the worst I have experienced, but it’s not tasty either. I’d say for hotel coffee, it’s a 5⁄10. The«small amenities», like soaps, are impressive. My room came with a shoe shine kit, which is very nice for a business traveler. You don’t see that often. It also came with extra soap, and a make-up removal cloth. which I had no use for, but I’ll bet the ladies would enjoy having. The complimentary breakfast would be great if you were traveling with a pet pig, but even he might complain about the terrible eggs. Front counter staff is very pleasant, and always smiling. That’s always a plus to me. Local newspaper at the counter upon request. Really wish I had woken up to a paper at my door like I have in other smaller towns. That’s always a feature that makes me return to that hotel when I travel there again, just that one small caring touch. All in all, it’s been a nice place to stay, but I don’t know if I would choose this hotel again in the future over it’s competition. Certainly better than some here I have stayed in.

Williston ND. The hotels are not cheap. But I suppose when you cater to oil folks you cc an get away with a higher price. After all, what choice do they have? ;) The hotel is nice. An updated and modern BW. I’m a rewards member and was offered my goody snack bag and my upgraded room when I checked in, so kudos on that. My room was a double queen with a kitchenette. Which means I could cook meals in my room and had a nice little table to work on as well. Loved the separate vanity area too. It’s always a bit awkward getting ready to go in the bathroom! Nice to be able to do so in a bigger area. Breakfast was good. Lots of choice, hot and cold. The staff is friendly and helpful. I’d recommend this hotel if you’re going there to work or visit.

Average hotel at the boomtown price. Rooms and suites are larger than a Hampton Inn for the same price. Hot breakfast in the morning is the usual rotation you’d expect. Linens in the rooms all smelled clean and didn’t have the typical random hair or smell that would normally sketch people out. No fan in the bathroom. The hotel gets two stars because their wifi is useless. Tried calling the front desk for help and was be informed that ‘The wifi is working for everyone else. Pretty much every night there’s someone who can’t connect, and well sir, I guess tonight that’s you!’ Now that’s service. One more thing — the rate changes nightly and they don’t tell you that up front. You’ll just see it when you check out.

First experience here was not a good one. Manager got in touch and I gave them another chance. Next few visits were good and I recommended this place to folks heading to the area. This stay was horrible! Internet price $ 179 charged $ 269/night Eggs like rubber all three days Today couldn’t eat my bagel in breakfast area due to the smoke stink rushing in the dropped open door. Toilet was clogged for over 24 hr before they would fit and too over a dozen calls Maid service never ran sweeper once or changed sheets plus came extremely late in the evening Very upset this stay. Will be finding another hotel for the next visit in two months.

When staying in Williston you will generally run into a few things that are sadly, the byproduct of a boomtown. Those include, but are not limited to: 1) careless, un-attentive help 2) the drunks that make the lobby their bachelor pad 3) hookers… no, really. and not the working girl type, the wear-nothing-to-breakfast, live-at-the-hotel-and-use-it-as-my-business type 4) the smelly, dirty oil field roughnecks who also, live at the hotel, out of necessity 5) management that doesn’t care about you any more than careless, un-attentive help I’m happy to report that after a lot of personal experience… I can grant this hotel the BEST that Williston has to offer. Don’t get me wrong… there are still the occasional travesties listed 2−4…but the staff here cares a lot about your experience and tries diligently to eliminate said annoyances. Chances are, by the time I post this… there will be another hotel that has popped up to throw their hat in the money race of the North… but you won’t be missing out on much. The best is right here.
