A session with Rumiko is kind of like a mini-​vacation that includes health benefits. If you are afraid of needles, there is no need — you don’t feel them going in or coming out, and the immediate pain relief and stress relief is noticable. She has treated me for a variety of ailments with success. Some things go away after a single session and some things take a bit longer, and Rumiko is able to treat many health issues.
She will take a complete medical history from you, and consult with you fully before beginning any course of treatment. Her office is very pleasant and quiet and her demeanor is perfect. After the needles are placed you rest quietly while they do their work, and after approximately 20 minutes they are removed. You emerge relaxed and refreshed and feeling better. I have had over 30 needles in at once and was perfectly fine and free of discomfort.

When I first started acupuncture, I had been suffering with frequent & terribly painful headaches and back pain from a car accident. I had gone through about a year of typical treatment which included seeing a chiropractor, physical therapist, neurologist & spinal surgeon. While the
chiropractic & physical therapy helped to some degree, it never gave me full relief from my symptoms and I was always on one form of pain
medication or another.
After beginning acupuncture, I was able to not only cut down and in some cases totally stop certain medications, but I was able to be pain free! The process wasn’t scary or uncomfortable & Rumiko was sweet and talked me through the whole process of what she was doing and why. Not only did I get relief from my pain but I got to learn so much about the roots of acupuncture itself. (I’m a geek, i can’t help the wanting to learn bit.)
For anyone who is hesitating trying acupuncture, please don’t wait any longer. It was a life changer for me. It took away my pain, improved my mood & made me feel like a normal, functioning person again. Rumiko was always accomodating to my schedule & was a magician with her needles (they’re tiny and really dont hurt!). Also, for those who are interested in weight loss, it works wonders there too.
