I went back to buy a birthday present for my dad– I was way too optimistic. I asked the salesman to try on a pair of Birkenstock. I have seen this specific style before, because I bought a pair for my mom; it is the«Black Arizona Birko-flor.» Now, NORMAL retail price for this pair is 99 dollars. But, this salesman insisted that their shoes are 100% leather. This is impossible, seeing as Birko-flor is synthetic, vegan, and has plastic in it. He insisted that the price is $ 134.99 because it is «100% quality leather.» I then pulled up the shoe on Journeys, Amazon, Nordstrom, and Birkenstock Depot, and I pointed out the EXACTSAMEITEMCODENUMBER, and the EXACTSAMESTYLE. He tried to talk over me, and once again, insisted on the price. It’s one thing to bump up the price, but it’s another thing to sell an item under a different name/quality/material. I’m disappointed with this store, and will not be going back.

Update — today I took my useless pair of SAS shoes to a Salvation Army donation center. I will probably claim $ 25 as a charitable deduction. Never, ever, will I plunk down $ 200 for a pair of shoes. If you are dumb enough to do business with Eric’s, don’t expect help when something goes awry; if you have a problem with SAS shoes, don’t expect the company to help. Please, read my previous review on why you shouldn’t set foot into this place.

Very friendly staff and fair prices. The selection of shoes here is better than most stores in the malls. All the brands and shoes are chosen for comfort. I do think the selection for men is somewhat better than for women. Not that they don’t have a lot of women’s shoes, just not really my style. I think that’s an issue with comfort shoes for women, tbh. I feel like the men’s shoes are just better in design and that’s a problem with shoe manufacturing, not the store itself. Coupons are available on the website, too. I will visit again!
