I have been waiting for some time for this Shoprite to «get its act together» a throwback to another time without any cool retro updates. The sad thing is that this owner also owns Mt Laurel and the Cinnaminson locations and they are both beautiful stores.

This is my local market… But, I will gladly drive the ten minutes to go to the ShopRite in Delran. The Willingboro ShopRite is old… It doesn’t have all the updates as the one located in Delran. It’s more of a convenience store than anything… If you need a loaf of bread or milk… Or some foil pans… Run in! But, if you’re looking to do some major grocery shopping… I suggest you take the ride. :)

Ahh, MY Shoprite, or as we call it, «The ghetto shoprite.» I should probably preface my review with the fact that this is my hometown shopping center and is like that crazy uncle at your family reunion; you know he ain’t all there, but you love him anyway. I know where everything is here, and I can blast through and get what I need in minutes. It has gotten its nickname because if you want to take a 5 – 10 minute trip down Route 130 to Delran, the Shoprite there is IMMEASURABLY better. You know how you go to Walmart and there are puddles of standing water and light fixtures out, and 3 ghetto ass BeBe’s kids are being chased by their 17 year old mom in sweat pants and a doo rag, screaming profanities with her gut hanging out of her tank top with the word«juicy» written on it, and then you go to Target, and its bright, clean, theres fresh produce and lavender scents wafting through the air while classical music plays? Kinda like that. The Willingboro Shoprite is the keystone of a shopping center that turns sketchy(to outsiders anyway) after dark and just seems to have a «so what» air about it. My GF pretty much refuses to go to this shoprite and will take the trip to Delran every time, and I can’t blame her. BUT, if youre from here, it’ll do.

This Shop Rite is where i used to go all the time, in my old hometown. I do not know what has happened, change of management, lack of cleanliness, Don’t care attitude. Do Not go there at all. It sucks Balls! Yes. I said it sucks Balls!!! First it has gotten SOGHETTO. not that I’m complaining about its location, could care less, but the workers –Don’t care, When I did go in there, the floor was horrific, dirty, nasty, produce, to any other items, not stocked, not picked up after, just no care in the world. I had to do my grocery shopping, after stopped at my mom’s, I only found one item out of like 10. WTF??! The top of shelves, piled on crap. I didn’t understand that, the meat dept, meat was going bad. chicken was RED.(borderline rancid) no longer flesh color, means its been sitting there for over 5 days or so. Ewppph… I walked out, have not been back. I will go to Shop Rite by me, or Wegman’s now. Least they care in stocking their shelves, picking, cleaning their store. Don’t go. better off going to Wawa, if your desperate. Yes, its ‘that bad!!! Should be minus 2– stars.
