A great, local florist that doesn’t ding you with tacky arrangements as part of the Teleflora network. I called over the phone and generally described what I wanted to send to my grandmother in hospital. Really helpful over the phone, and the arrangement was beautiful and very fresh. As much as I default to being lazy and ordering as much as possible over the internet, dealing with a local business for something special is definitely worth the extra 5 minute effort!

I placed an order for a holiday arrangement after finding Mischler’s via Unilocal and could not have been more pleased with the experience. I even received a hand written thank you note following the order to thank me for my business and wish me a Happy New Year. The arrangement turned out to be beautiful and the recipient was thrilled — it even kept all throughout the holiday season.

LOVE this place. They have great sales in the early season. Sometimes prices could be a little more explicit but I get such great deals on everything else that I don’t much care when something is more than expected at the register. This place is great if you don’t exactly have a green thumb, because you can get a lot and hope it works out haha. They had a cute dog around when i was there — I’m not sure if he’s a regular employee(hope so :) but if you suck and don’t like dogs maybe you’d wanna know that? Also be considerate and don’t take plants from other peoples carts.

Saw that Mischler’s didn’t have a review and wanted to leave one. My close co-worker’s mother passed away last summer and I wanted to send a nice small arrangement to cheer her up. I went through Mischler’s and was very pleased with the arrangement they sent after my friend sent me a picture of it. The lady I spoke with on the phone was appreciative for the business and did not make me feel rushed on the phone. They promptly and professionally delivered it to her home and she was so pleased by it. It really made her day during a difficult time. About a month later, I received a long hand written note thanking me for being a first time customer, hoping I was pleased with their service, and for supporting local businesses. You don’t really see customer contact like that anymore. They also very frequently provide flowers at a discount for my educational place of employment for special events. Great local business!

Mischler’s Nursery and Florist? Epic FAIL. Argumentative, snarky, RUDE, obnoxious, unknowledgeable customer service, and unreasonable prices. Boy… today was a first for me. Even when faced with the rudest employees at various businesses, I have never had one flat out argue with me. And I’ve certainly never had one continue to shout at me till I was in my car and trying to leave. I was confused by her reminding me *she* has a Bachelor’s Degree. Was i supposed to bow down to her? If she does have one, it is clearly not in customer service, business or manners. I mean really? You have a BA? Good for you. Then please let me know why this tomato plant is covered in what looks like fungus… «Then just don’t buy it!» is no way to respond to a customer. Not out of someone with a Bachelors, right? She enjoyed being a mouthy diva a little too much. Busted. Anger management: get some. Take that from a Mental Health profession with a bigger degree than a random Bachelors. After living in Williamsville my entire life, I am sad to report I will never recommend Mischler’s to anyone for any reason, and will never go there again. 10 years ago it was a nice place to shop. Those days are over. You’ll be much happier with the customer service, selection, hours, and prices at HiWay Nursery and Produce and at Menne Nursery. Shame on you, Mischler’s.
