Maui Whitening & Rao’s Glow

I came across Maui whitening while shopping and saw they had a special deal going on. The owner happened to be there and was the one to whiten my teeth 8 shades whiter. I could not be any happier with this service. Not only do I feel and look better, I had the friendliest customer service and ended up getting a spray tan at a discount. I will definitely return. People spend so much money in restaurants, etc, but spending the small amount to look great is much more fulfilling to me. Thanks for making me feel good about myself!

I had a Groupon for a 60 minute teeth whitening session (three 20 min sessions) for $ 96, normally ~$ 175. I made my appointment over the phone easy peasy and located it easily in the Eastern Hills Mall. I was greeted very warmly by part owner Michelle even though I was about 5 minutes late. Michelle was very kind, informative, and attentive during the entire appointment. Each session consists of wearing this plastic apparatus that keeps your mouth open and your teeth dry and exposed. You don red safety goggles and are guided in applying the whitening agent to your smile. A small heat lamp with a timer is then placed in front of your mouth for 20 min at a time. The heat potentiates the action of the whitening solution. After each session you take out the apparatus (careful, drool), rinse your mouth, and take a break. After the first session I noticed a lift in stains but it wasn’t until after the second session that I really noticed a difference. After the third session I was positively glowing. My teeth whitened 8 shades in 60 min and I couldn’t be happier with the results. *Bonus they gave me a free whitening pen to use for touch ups*
Hints:
1. Brush your teeth before your appointment
2. You cannot eat or drink anything but water for 2 hours after your appointment so plan ahead.
3. The «White Diet» (foods that are light or white in color) is recommended for 24 – 48 hours after your appointment, (chicken, turkey, white pasta, cottage cheese, potatoes etc). So plan accordingly.
4.Tooth sensitivity is expected 24 – 72 hours following the session and Sensodyne is recommended. It is 48 hours post my appointment and two of my teeth are a tiny bit sensitive right now.
5. Buy straws to drink everything out of, this takes the liquid past your teeth to avoid staining.
6. Buy some white wine, stick a straw in it, and celebrate how awesome you look.
