I don’t know why I keep coming here, I think its because the food is pretty good on most occasions(I’m talking ordering from the counter, not the pre-packaged items in the store). I come to Dash’s probably 2 – 3 times a week as I work in the area, normally I stop in and grab a slice or two of Pizza… its not the best pizza in the area(the honor goes to Picasso’s) but with thick crust and pretty fresh ingredients its not bad at all and but its convenient to grab a couple as they normally have a good selection to choose from already made. My main issue is when you order food, in particular a Sub or something like that, I’ve more often than not found myself waiting FOREVER for the order to happen, the ordering process itself is a cluster**** as there is an «order here» sign but no-one really pays attention and most people just go to the counter where you pay and place their order there which causes confusion and people getting skipped over. Also on more than one occasion I’ve seen(including myself) someone else get their order first, even though they’ve ordered after as one of the employees made a mistake. Recently I ordered a Turkey Sub and requested it to be toasted, after waiting 15 minutes and watching other orders be taken and received I asked and they told me they«forgot mine was toasted» and gave other people my order while they«toasted the Sub», when I clearly showed my displeasure I was told very matter of fact«uh sorry, we’ll make it now» and then saw the kid laughing about it while at the back. This is an issue I’ve seen with Dash’s /LT’s as they seem to employ primarily College Kids behind the counter and they care about their job as much as most college kids would. If you’re grabbing and going then I would say stop by, but if you’re on a time crunch you’re really rolling the dice as to how long it’ll take you to receive your order.

Less than a star. They forgot to put my pizzas in the oven till I came back 30 minutes after ordering. Now. Get to wait another 30 mins standing at he counter. Reason I rarely order here. Third time it’s happened. Ok AND after an hour they tell me they don’t have the ingredients to make my order. So I came up with an alternate and they made it. But wait… I got home and they used totally different ingredients. NEVERGETPIZZAHERE.

Tasty sub! I love Dash’s so when faced with the dilemma of what to have for lunch, I thought of Fox’s review of LT’s. I had to get some groceries anyway, so it was a good time to try LT’s. I ordered turkey and roast beef on multigrain, with provolone, lettuce, tomato, pickles, mayo, and oil. It was AWESOME! Nice crusty multigrain roll, high quality cold cuts(better than Wegman’s!). The oil added an extra flavor profile that I really liked, though it made the sub drippy every time I took a bite. Hold it over your wrapper or a napkin so it doesn’t grease up your shirt. It was loaded with meat. The sub was heavier than I thought it would be. Very substantial lunch. Customer service left a bit to be desired. I felt like I was inconveniencing 2 obviously annoyed employees by ordering. Ha. Seemed like it took a bit for them to get their act together and make the sub. Ooof. That won’t dissuade me from returning though. Looking forward to trying their other varieties. I can imagine they have a killer chicken finger sub. And the steak sub is next after that. Thanks for the recommendation Fox!

If LT’s was a coffee shop it would stand for«Loud Talking.» If it was an employment agency providing secretaries it would stand for«Lethargic Typists.» If it was a strip club it would stand for«Large T…» Wait, that’s inappropriate. If it was a club for males who are bullies with expensive sports cars, it would stand for«Little Testi…» Wait, what did you say? Talk about the food? Okay okay. What to get: any sub on wheat with lots of olives. Oooooh LT’s. What’s funny is that Wegmans has really delicious and fancy subs. And Louie’s across the street makes really good specialty subs. But I just can’t get enough of LT’s. I love their rustic old brown bread and I love their #7, which comes with a bunch of italian meats and whatever else you want on it. The original location of this is way down towards Elma and West Seneca and Depew on Union or something… but the one inside the Dash’s in Clarence is my favourite because they always get my order right and it’s always fresh and delicious. And Dash’s is a really lovely store too. I’ve done a separate review for Dash’s, but it also has been rated highly. Check it out. I’m raising this to a 5 because their subs really are damn good.
