More Paneer Mahkani, please. Best Indian food I’ve ever had and wonderful family-owned restaurant. Kebab & Curry has something for everyone and is absolutely delicious! If you love Indian food or are visiting from out of town or are local and looking to try something new… this is the place to go! The buffet is a great value and has a ton of options. If I lived closer I’d be here every week.

Haven’t been here in a while, the service is still excellent and the food is delicious. Tried the Punjabi pakoras and there are delicious, also got veggie korma hot and it’s perfect. I really missed the food here.

Wonderful meal! Everything was delicious. The chicken tikka masala and garlic naan were the best that I have had.

I love this place, the people who work here are super nice, the food is always great, doesn’t matter what you order. This place is so good I had to get Unilocal so I could review it!

This is my favorite Indian restaurant in Buffalo! I always get something new and it’s always worthwhile. The service is great and the prices are reasonable

Great menu, something for everyone. Service was great. They have a buffet which is great for beginners who don’t know their way around. You can pick naan or rice with your meal, I’d suggest getting the rice and ordering the naan separate.

The restaurant inside is beautiful! It’s dim and elegant. The servers were also very professional and nice. I expected the food to be the same. And it was! Had garlic naan as an appetizer and that was so soft and buttery. My friend ordered chicken makhani and I had lamb vindaloo. I couldn’t really tell it was lamb cause it was drowned in the sauce. Maybe that’s a good thing because the spices and seasonings were spot on. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed it. The only thing I wish was different is the portion size. For the amount of food, the price is high.

Great prices and portions. I recommend trying the Butter Chicken, Tandoori Chicken, or the Dosa. As an appetizer/side, I always pick the tandoori wings! The new location is great. It’s right in the heart of Clarence and it has a very nice atmosphere.

Very good buffet with delicious food, but selection is a bit sparse and flavors are toned down for the less adventurous. At the same time, good preparation and good service. Very nice atmosphere in a very nice part of town. Wouldn’t be my number one choice for indian/pakistani food but at the same time, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Really great for introducing people to this type of cuisine for the uninitiated.

I don’t eat a lot of Indian food, but after coming here for their lunch buffet, that’ll have to change. I was considering going to Williamsville to get some food, but after a full parking lot and a closed sign deterred me, I finally decided to come check out Kabab and Curry. I’m so happy I did! I came for the lunch buffet so I was able to try everything. The dining area is very large and cozy. There’s a room to the left of the buffet which seems to be for private events, and a general dining area to the right. My waitress seated me at a table, brought me a water, and away I went! My favorite dish was the butter chicken. What an intense mixture of flavors. It went down so smoothly and I found myself adding more to my plate. Also loved the naan and the paratha. Good stuff! Light, fluffy and fresh. There was also this tiny ball of goodness which I totally forgot the name of, but it was made with chickpea flour and veggies. But that was also a gem of the buffet. As an aside, I love rice and chickpeas(hummus is my number three favorite food) so slathering that onto my plate with all the delicious spices and juices was so amazing to me. It made me really want to drop my things and buy a plane ticket to India. Except don’t tell my parents. I didn’t get a chance to try the desserts(kheer), but it looked great(more rice, yay!) However, I DID try the Saffron Shake. The Saffron Shake is simply a vanilla milkshake, with saffron, and crushed almonds. I have found it, Unilocalers. The best milkshake in Western New York. The ice cream they use is so milky good and the almonds are a perfect combination in the ‘shake. If you go there, give it a try. There are good milkshakes elsewhere, yes, but there is something special about this one. Is saffron code for something? I don’t know, but a must try! Big thank you to the waitstaff and especially the manager of Kabab and Curry. He was bussing tables, putting food onto the buffet, serving freshly-cooked naan bread at each table(regardless if they were a part of the buffet or not), and checking in with each table to make sure everything was okay. I rarely see such passion and desire for promoting the cuisine. For that alone, five stars. For the fantastic food, it was obviously going to be five stars. I can’t wait to come back and bring other people along with me. Excellent choice, especially for lunch.

My daughter and I have been going to Kabab and Curry since black Friday of 2011. Aways a pleasure to eat here as we are warmly welcomed, have a nice variety of freshly prepared food and wonderful marsala tea. They work very hard at offering a great value to their customers. We have gone on a Thursday night and received free henna tattoos by a very nice lady. We plan on going at least 1 time a month.

Don’t be fooled by the total rating of above 4. The place decoration is nice. But if you want variations and good indian food, this is definitely not the place. We went for dinner buffet. The place had only 8 – 9 items in the Entrée section. They were not as good as you would think with smaller numbers would be. I have been to many Indian buffets and most of them had at least 15 – 20 items in the Entrée from which you really could pick your liking. Interestingly we couldn’t find any Kabab!!! I didn’t see why people would hype this place so much.

I’m updating my review to add an extra star. I’ve been back several times since my original review and the experience is consistently very good to excellent. The place is attractive and well kept. Their service is consistently good. The food is very tasty, especially the lamb mahkni, my personal favorite. The naan is some of the best I’ve had.

This is my favorite Indian restaurant period. The food is always delicious the service is impeccable. **updated review when ordering takeout through grubhub the app said about 20 – 25 minutes(pretty normal for 2 orders). I arrived and they said it would be another 25 – 35 minutes? Pretty unacceptable the food is good but I won’t order take out again. No order for 2 entrees should take that long.

We were staying in Buffalo so though to go eat at this place. I must say this is a hidden gem. The décor was amazing and the restaurant was very appealing. Our server was very friendly and gave us an excellent service. On the food side we ordered chaat pappari as an appetized and I would not recommend that and there wasn’t much into it. For the main course we ordered Chicken tikka masallah with bunch of naan and we loved it. We also ordered mixed grill which was over priced as the quantity was just poor and I have never had it so low but the meat was tasty. As for dessert we went with Mango shake and kulfi which were both very good. Over all everything was great. The restaurant lost a star as there price does not justify the low quantity levels. For my Muslim folks — they serve halal meat here.

The place that we were going to go to was sadly closed. They’d recently changed hours and we didn’t know they were now closed on Monday. So we were like still in the mood for Indian, and not too far from Kabab and Curry(plus, Pakistani food is great). So, okay, the good: the service was friendly and prompt. Everything tasted fresh, and the lamb karahi was really tender and tasty. First time having karahi and it was definitely a good choice. The bad: the portions were really small. Much smaller than the pictures on the menu. And everything that had potato in it(the veggie samosas and the alu tiki) was just a little under cooked. The chicken Seekh kebabs, though tender, were again really small. The portions were just really stingy for what we were paying. And the mango lassi that my Girlfriend got was made with orange juice. So everything was tasty, right? I mean, for the most part. Okay, the veggie appetizer sampler was honestly pretty bland, and the spice level was not spicy. We’d ordered spicy and got what I am assuming is mild. Anyway, the meat was cooked succulently, and the karahi sauce was very flavourful, but some of the stuff was bland and meh. So, my point is, the food tasted good, but it was way to small a portion to justify the price, and there are better Indian places in Buffalo for much less. I’m glad I tried it, and if someone else were paying I wouldn’t say no, but I’m not about to go out of my way to eat here again.

Dinner with BFF usually brings us here since the better half is not a fan of Indian. Def one of the best around Love the menu set up by type of protein. Sauces and flavored explained well. Great service, great food. I am not a fan of spicy so I had the shrimp korma which was amazing. If you never had Indian this is a wonderful place for a virgin.

I called them to order for delivery, the lady said they deliver within 5 miles, the adress where I was is 3.8 miles away, when I told them that I’m in the warehouse and I’m truck driver she said it is out of our range, have some respect to your costumers, this is so disrespectful like I called and asked to give me free food or something, do better business, especially it’s iftar time for me … And one more thing teach your personal how to talk and lie …

This is by far the worst place I have ever eaten for indian food. I am so disgusted by the food that I am writing this while still sitting in the restaurant. We had to sit outside because we didn’t have a reservation which is understandable. But they did not bring us silverware or napkins until after we were done with our appetizers. I had to go and ask them. For the appetizers, we got some meat platter sampler not sure what it was called but it came with two chicken samosas, two chicken pakora type things and 3 beef kababs. Absolutely bland. No flavor whatsoever. Don’t bother. For the main entrée, I got their signature chicken makhni dish. It was OK at best. I asked for it spicy but if anything could be described as the opposite of spicy it would be this dish. You guys are serving indian food and don’t know what spicy is?! I have had much better chicken makhni at smaller places around NY. This was just disappointing. The naan also sucked – honestly how can you mess up Naan?! It wasn’t soft and was too crunchy. I don’t know how such bland food can pass off as food. The worst part is, the portions were very small but cost $ 13-$ 18! My dad ordered the dinner combo for $ 18.95 and it was literally two pieces of shrimp and some other flavorless meat. We asked to speak to the manager three or four times but he never bothered to come over and speak to us. Unless you’ve somehow lost all your taste buds, or someone is holding a gun to your head and forcing you to spend your money here, condemning you to eat at this place, avoid by all means.

Stopped in for the lunch Buffet with a coworker and we were able to sit down immediately, no wait. The Hostess and server were very pleasant and we were able to get our food right away. They had a single buffet station for hot food and another for salads and desserts. There were several varieties of spicy and sweet chicken, fish, soft, warm, fresh naan bread, rice, etc. I tried a little bit of everything and it was all spiced/seasoned beautifully, absolutely delicious. Also had a salad and rice pudding for dessert. Will definitely come here again… Looking forward it to actually, I had a great dinning experience here, comfortable, clean, upscale and pure excitement for my tastebuds! Lol

Great service and a nice buffet! The interior is gorgeous. It’s pretty far out of my way, but I tried it out to meet a friend in the area. The buffet was good, but it wasn’t my favorite Indian buffet. Still not bad and worth trying out!

I used to visit Kabab and Curry at their old location and when they moved I was very interested to check out their new spot. I love the new location! It’s bigger and more modern looking and I love the décor. I look forward to being able to come in the summer and sit on the patio. I recently went for the Wednesday night buffet and it was delicious. There were plenty of options and the food was constantly being refilled. The staff was very professional and helpful as well.

The food is as good as it had been in the previous location, but the atmostphere is not nearly as nice. What had been previously a warm and welcoming setting with cloth table cloths and soft, subdued lighting is now not much better than a cafeteria. The steel buffet table right in the middle sure doesn’t help! And, now it seems like ordering off the menu is just an after-thought. They are really pushing that buffet. I’ve been here twice since they’ve moved. The first time I ordered the buffet, which I felt was just kind of so-so. Nothing was really bad… but nothing was memorable either. Everything was rather bland, and the presentation didn’t make it more appetizing. The next time I ordered off the menu to make sure it was simply the buffet and the setting that was disappointing me(since I had been such a fan of this place previously). The food(Gobi Aloo, Chicken Tika, Vegetable Korma, and Chicken Biryani… no, not all for me!) was as good as I had remembered. Maybe I’ll get it as take-out next time and create my own welcoming atmosphere.
