InTouch Massage & Day Spa

I’m from Sydney and I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to find a salon that could give me a haircut of similar quality. I was very wrong as i have been here three times and have always left very satisfied. Anthony Leo is very experienced and I will definitely be getting all my haircuts here when I am in the area. The massages are also great despite being somewhat pricey.

From the moment you walk in you feel relaxed and welcome in this beautiful salon and spa. Anthony Leo is amazing and so talented! He chose a fun, versatile, beautiful cut, that fits my lifestyle and the color of the highlights are outstanding! His vision and passion shine through with every moment with him and his personality makes you feel so comfortable instantly. I can’t wait for my next appointment with him!

This is a beautiful salon, but I’m writing this review to tell people about the great experience I had with my hair stylist, Anthony Leo. Anthony is amazing — he is experienced (he used to run his own salon in New York state), and really knows what he’s doing with hair, but he also takes the time to talk to me about what style I want and what style I can realistically maintain.
Anthony is sweet and funny and I can’t imagine having anyone else cut and color my hair. He treats everyone as an individual, and takes the time to make sure you’re totally satisfied with his work. We talked before my latest cut, then he cut it wet and later dry. I love the way my hair turned out! And a week after my haircut, as the style has settled in, I think it looks better and better!

Mark and his staff could not have been more accommodating! My sister is getting married in December and we were in town for her bachelorette celebration weekend. I called on Friday afternoon hoping to make five massage appointments. Even though it was incredibly last minute, Mark went out of his way to rearrange the schedule to fit us all in. It was the perfect way to spend our Saturday morning! Thank you again!

Chelsea came over to The Porches to give me and my partner massages. She was lovely — professional, warm and relaxed. 5 stars!

Let me preface the following by saying that I have been getting Brazilian waxes for almost 10 years.
Never have I encountered such a kind, accommodating and professional environment in all my waxing experiences — and believe me when I say that there have been many.
In dire need of a wax but constricted by an inability to only schedule on very short notice and access only to places I could get to by foot, I came across In Touch, specifically the receptionist Barbara. When I explained my dilemma to her she went to extreme lengths to help me figure out a time when I could come in even after I was forced to cancel a couple hours before my appointment because of a last minute scheduling conflict. When I was finally able to make it to the spa at a time that worked for Tammy, the wonderful woman in charge of waxing, I was welcomed with open arms — literally.
Not only was the hospitality top rate, but was hands down the least painful waxing experience I’ve ever had. I didn’t flinch once and Tammy made me feel so comfortable and at ease in a situation that few women look forward to.
This is only the second Unilocal review I’ve ever written, but I felt it so necessary to share my experience as it was so unexpectedly wonderful.

I called in the am to get an emergency last minute manicure and pedicure. Staff were super welcoming and find me spot an hour later.
The building is beautiful, overlooking a river with cascades. After my treatment, I waited the polish get dry on the outdoor patio, drinking tea, looking at the river.
If you need a break, a relax moment for yourself, this is the place to go.
I can’t wait to come back try a massage!

I had an unexpected weekend to myself, and on a whim, decided to get a massage after a long and stressful week. I called In Touch in the morning, and Dierdre was able to book an appointment that afternoon. I’m not a frequent massage recipient, so I don’t have a lot of experience to compare with, but I couldn’t be happier with my treatment.
I arrived a few minutes early (which is good if you’ve never been before, as there is a form to fill out.) As other reviews mentioned, the exterior does not reflect the simple beauty of the interior, which is tasteful and not overdone.
I was introduced to Christine, my masseuse, who asked if I would like to have my appointment outdoors. As it was a beautiful day, I thought, why not? I made the right choice. The sounds of the brook made the massage that much more relaxing.
Christine did a fabulous job. I had a stubborn knot in my shoulder that Christine was able to make go away without making me feel like I had been beaten up afterward. She is worth seeking out, if you go.
Overall, just a great experience.

I love this place! I come here for my massages and hair. The woman I go to for my hair is wonderful! I don’t trust anyone else with my hair! I’ve gone to a couple different people for my massages and both of them were wonderful. I did a full body massage and felt very relaxed. One time I was massaged outside by the water which is very calming and relaxing. Another time I had to get massaged inside because it was during the summer and kids were playing loudly in the water. It was still a very relaxing time and they played music for me. They are located in a perfect area and it is so beautiful inside. They are extremely nice and sometimes you can be greater by the family dog. He is very friendly, lazy and cute. The prices are a little on the high side but you get what you pay for. You get quality work and i’ve never left unhappy. I would highly recommend this place!

I wasn’t sure what to expect going through the doors of Intouch– the outside is nothing that screams lavish getaway nor relaxation. It’s in a plain building 5 feet from a curve in the road, without windows to draw you in. But man, once you enter the doors, you are in for a treat.
I’ve gone to Intouch multiple times in the last year for hair cuts, hair colorings, and massages. In every experience, the staff tries to make sure that the customer knows they have the power of veto and sits down with the customer before hand to make sure that they’re on the same page. In particular, for haircuts, I was in love from the get-​go. Most haircuts I had gotten before Intouch, the hairdresser would scarcely listen to my pleas, all the while rushing around and trying to get started. It could not be more different at Intouch. The first time, my hairdresser Jen sat me down, combed out my hair, and asked me questions about my preferences of styling, what my morning routine was, what I was looking for, how I usually got my hair cut. When she started, I could just relax– I knew she would take care of me. I’ve always been happy leaving Intouch.
For massages, they apply the same ideas. They ask for your opinions, make sure you’re comfortable, and don’t make you fret about any time limit. It’s for relaxation, it’s not simply a business transaction. This is helped along by the gorgeous interior, which looks out onto the river and makes you feel like you’re in the woods of VT rather than on a main route road in a college town.
In short, get an appointment, return soon, and then go again. You’ll always be satisfied.
