Excellent lunch in a hip college town. Passing thru on our way back to NY, so glad we stopped. As we were traveling in our Rv(24ft View, included this for those of u Rv travelers), we were very lucky to find parking. However there is a pay lot a few blocks away. Not knowing the area, we were surprised to find that this great restaurant was in in a city setting. Food was delicious, fresh and ample. Husband had seafood enchiladas, I had shrimp fajita, with guacamole as an appetizer, dos Equis, and hard cider. Great service, reasonably priced. Bookmarked for a future visit.

When we showed up at 5:30 it was deserted. Which seemed like a red flag, but with three toddlers, it was a sanctuary. So we got our food the waitress was nice and friendly. Didn’t have a super large children’s menu but it was alright. Our food took the expected amount of time. The first thing I noticed is that the portions weren’t outrageous. Which is something I expect from most Mexican restraunts. I had got the Mexican Chicken Mole, which in my opinion was very good. Not to spicy, very flavorful. My brother-in– law got the seafood enchilada and wasn’t impressed. The seafood was all ground up and to spicy for him. My mom and sister got the fajitas and said they were okay but to charred. Overall, we have had better Mexican food. But it was pretty good.

I love to support local businesses and I hear great things about the owners from regulars here. However I have to describe the food as mediocre at best. Many items are clearly canned, they don’t even bother to fry their own chips, and fresh jalapeños aren’t an option. As a lover of Mexico and mexican food as well as true Rex mex and Cali mex I felt the need to not be negative, but honest. If you’re looking for a certain standard of mexican food, it unfortunately isn’t here, or anywhere in this town really. I make better mexican dishes at home, so why pay to eat them out? Taco Tuesday’s are worth it for the special price and margaritas are good, but the special is only later evening and in the bar-no kids allowed, so the bartender told me the last time I tried to go w my daughter.

Stumbled upon this. Good Mexican food in an otherwise sleepy little town(maybe it was just Sunday afternoon!) Owner/Waitress was super nice. Added a touch of habanero to the salsa which made a world of difference. Great main courses(portion sizes were quite big) and kid friendly. I would not mind taking a detour just to visit again.

I love to eat here. The salsas are huge and taste amazing. Great prices, take out is always fast(within 10 – 15 minutes) lots of space. You don’t feel like your sitting on top of people. Staff is friendly. Clean.

Having lived for many years in California and Texas, I’ve had some really good and very authentic Mexican food. Having said that, it’s very hard to find good and authentic Mexican food in the northeast. I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The chips were good and the salsa was excellent. I ordered a house margarita on the rocks which was also very good. I became the most excited when I saw the arroz con pollo on the menu. This is an authentic Mexican dish that most«Mexican» restaurants don’t offer. Of course I had to order it and I wasn’t disappointed. It wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, but it was very good. And to find it in Williamsport PA was an unexpected pleasure. This place isn’t much for ambiance, but if you’re looking for authentic and tasty Mexican food at reasonable prices, this is your place. I will be a return customer next time I’m in town!

Lunch on a rainy day and the food was great. A lot of food at a good price. Everything on the plate was thoughtfully prepared and seasoned(beans, rice, etc) not just thrown on the plate as an after thought. Well done.

One of the best restaurants in town! Chips and salsa come complementary with every meal, and the servers are friendly. I have tried several different entrees, and have never been disappointed. I would recommend the chicken quesadilla – it is listed as an appetizer, but is big enough to serve as a whole meal. The atmosphere is relaxing, the prices are fantastic, and the food is outstanding. 5 out of 5 stars for sure!

This place is one of my absolute favorite restaurants of all time, and probably my favorite Mexican restaurant. Authentic food and I have never been disappointed. Ever. Their taco meat is indescribably fantastic. It has such great flavor. The taco salads are piled high and delicious every time, the chips and salsa are tasty, and the queso is a must try too. Taco Tuesday’s were a staple in my college life and who could pass up $ 1 tacos and $ 3 margaritas? You leave happy, full, and still have plenty of cash in your pocket after a Tuesday night at Hacienda. The margaritas are fantastic(the house is my favorite), but the bartender makes killer daiquiris and mojitos too… and he doesn’t skimp on the alcohol either. Can’t wait until I can get back to Williamsport and eat here again.

Upon walking in, there was an off putting smell. It was musty and struck me as coming from the carpet. Other than that, the service was polite and the food was delicious. Homemade tortilla chips and salsa are complimentary, and my carne asada enchiladas were perfect. I forgot about the smell, which my companion didn’t notice.

The food had a burnt smell that lingered on our hands for the rest of the evening. It took over 45 minutes to get our appetizer and another 30 after that to finally get dinner. The food was mediocre and the drinks were horribly overpriced and tasted bad.

This place is fantastic. Authentic Mexican food so pleasing to the palate. This is the first time we tried it and we have already planned to become regulars. The fresh lime and Cuervo margaritas make you feel like you are lying on a beach in beautiful Costa Rica as you are served the tart salty refreshing loveliness. The staff is also deserving of recognition, the best in town. If you want to be treated well and enjoy great food and drinks do yourself a favor visit Ozzie & Mae’s Hacienda.

Food was nothing special and subpar for Mexican in my opinion. Took over and hour for it to come out and waitress only checked on us once in that time

LOVE getting to grab lunch at this place. I generally end up overeating when I’m there for lunch, but the food is incredible and at a very decent cost. Check it out!

The food took awhile to come out, and they weren’t very busy. I think they cooked the food fresh, which is good. It’s a pretty Americanized Mexican restaurant, they have a «Mexican hotdog.» I tried the beef enchilada and beef taco. It was pretty good, average. Not really anything too special, but it was filling and the portions were large. Prices are a little more than I’ve paid for more authentic Mexican food. There isn’t many choices of Mexican food here in Williamsport, so I would recommend this restaurant to others in the area.

This Mexican restaurant is pretty good and very reasonably priced. Very tasty food as well. I went there for lunch and had a burrito and enchilada combo with a soda was under $ 10. My wife had the California chicken salad and she enjoyed that too. They serve Coke products not Pepsi which I was very happy with.

Solid 3.5 stars! I enjoy this place quite a bit. I am not sure why it is described as a Americanized Mexican Restaurant. While I have been to better, more authentic Mexican restaurants, I wouldn’t insult this place by saying it’s Americanized. I have probably eaten here a dozen times and have never had a disappointing meal. The food has good spice and I love the homemade corn tortillas. The waitresses are very nice and friendly. The prices are very reasonable, my bill(entrée only with a coke) always comes out t less than $ 20 with tip.

I love Americanized Mexican food, live directly across from Ozzie and Mae’s, but have only been here for lunch/dinner a handful of times. Got food poisoning the first time I dined here but chalked it up to bad luck and gave Mr. Ozzie a few more shots. But I have been disappointed every time. Vegetarian options are paltry and overpriced; the taco salads, quesadillas, and salsas are lacking in flavor. On a few occasions, they’ve even been out of guac(usually served on a bed of shredded lettuce– why??). Other observations: On more than one occasion, I’ve seen flies and other bugs crawling around; little thought went into the interior décor, the staff often seem distracted. The second star is for their Tuesday night karaōke — drinks are cheap, the song book is solid, and certain characters make the night enjoyable. Otherwise, I’d give this place one star. If you’re craving tex-mex, Abrana Marie’s is a better option in the area.

This is Classic Americanized Tex-Mex. don’t expect authentic Mexican food. I lived on the Mexican border for years, this ain’t it. Given that Williamsport appears to have a Latino population of about 2, and neither of those 2 people work at this restaurant as far as I can tell, this is perhaps not surprising. However, the food is OK for what it is and servers are friendly, service is good. Our large party came here a couple times and was happy. Large selection of margaritas. They have Pacifico, Corona, XX, Negra Modelo. cajun shrimp tacos were pretty good. Ozzie’s hot sauce, which is made by the restaurant, is tasty.
