The room was acceptably clean, desk staff very nice. Unfortunately the facilities are a dump. My foot went partially into a hole in the bottom of the tub, there was partially finished drywall work in both rooms, peeling paint, etc. etc… If it were the cheapest room we have had on the trip it would be more understandable but the price is comparable to a far nicer room. Yuck.

The room was disquisting. We asked for 2 queen beds, come in to the room to find 2 twins. Not to mention the bedding/​pillows smelled. I guess thats because a smoking room was all they had available. And the room smelled like an ashtray, no air fresheners to maybe cover the smell of the previous customer chain smoking themselves to death. Bathroom hadn’t looked like anyone thoroughly cleaned it. Walls were GROSS. Very poor «repair» job on the wall, what I assume was flooding inside the walls from the toilet/​shower. This place is piss poor! THE WORST motel visit IN MY WHOLE LIFE!

I stopped here a few weeks ago on a cross country trip because it was cheap and seemed to be in a decent area. It was very quiet only about 3 – 4 other people in the hotel, a few truckers.
My room was big and clean and I didn’t have any problems with bugs.
Not really much to say here, it is what it is for a cheap one night stay in Iowa!

Maybe a little better than what you’d expect for a Motel 6. Very plain room, reasonably clean, in a hallway of all nonsmoking rooms. Very inexpensive ($ 52/​night including tax when I booked online.)
No breakfast that I knew of, but we were just looking for a place to sleep. King bed was comfortable and no bugs. Room was quite warm despite the A/​C set to 71. In the morning I walked outside and it felt cooler although my car thermometer said 75.
I can’t give it more than 3 stars just because, well, you get what you pay for. In this case, I got as much as I could expect. I would stay here again under the same circumstances.
