Hanson House Bed & Breakfast

My husband and I stayed here for a night. We have never stayed at a B&B before, and were a little apprehensive not knowing what to expect. However, Vicki, the owner/​hostess, is absolutely fantastic. She is very hospitable and friendly. This home was immaculate and cozy. The rooms were beautiflly furnished, all with their own bathrooms and outside entrance. We also met some wonderful people. It was exactly like staying with your favorite relative. Vicki is also a fabulous cook and she made us a terrific breakfast. The free shuttle to/​from Spirit Mountain was the perfect addition. We couldn’t have asked for anything better. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I went here for a night a month or two ago. Being new to the B&B experience, we didn’t really know what to expect, but I couldn’t have asked for anything more! The home is charming and well-​kept. The rooms are cozy, but well-​furnished and comfortable. Vicky, the owner/​hostess, is great at what she does, wonderfully hospitable and friendly, and an amazing cook!
The house isn’t far from Spirit Mountain, and a free shuttle comes to pick you up and drop you off again. It’s also relatively close to Lincoln City, but there are no destination towns any closer than that.
There is a direct access door to your room from the outside (for which Vicky will obviously give you a key), so even if you come back late, you won’t be disturbing anyone. On the property, there is an outdoor hot tub, which we didn’t take advantage of during our stay. The grounds themselves are relatively small and simple, but pretty and well-​maintained.
My only complaint was that, when I drew a bath, the water was ridiculously hot! I had to wait a full hour after filling the tub to be able to get in comfortably. I told Vicky the next morning, and she said that, since other guests had mentioned the same issue, she had called a plumber to come out after the weekend to look at it.
Breakfast was delightful. Vicky usually offers a few different options for each guest; we had one dish prepared for everyone during our stay, since there was one large family in the rest of the rooms.
I highly recommend Hanson House! The prices are very affordable in comparison with other B&B’s of comparable quality. We will definitely be going back!
