We love WGP restaurants! We ordered the meatloaf dinner and sandwich, both were tasty. The crispy onion straws were yummy. We also ordered the tortilla soup and by far the BEST soup eva… the squash soup! OMG… yummy!

#1 favorite place to eat at Mohegan Sun Pocono Down Casino. Portions are big, food is delish, and the prices reasonable. We just love the butternut squash soup and spaghetti & meatballs, pita sandwiches, etc.

staying in the Mohegan I’ve decided to try their room service which was of course sponsored by Wolfgang express. last night I ordered their half rotisserie chicken with mashed potatoes and garlic butter. The chicken was moist on the inside. A little bit dry on the outside. The garlic butter really helped bring out the tenderness in the skin. The mashed potatoes were average, nothing that I’d go back for. my boyfriend ordered the bbq half rotisserie which came with fries and slaw. the slaw was ok. the fries were tough/over cooked on the outside, and little to no potato on the inside. decided to try their breakfast menu the next morning; big mistake. ordered the bacon and cheddar melt omelette which came with roasted potatoes. What i received was a bunch of overly cooked crispy potatoes which looked like they were once cut into pieces but now formed into one solid rock. Eggs were also medium brown and flavorless. didn’t even eat this meal, so we called room service to take it back and decide to try their sandwiches. Ordered a turkey bacon club which had avocado, mixed greens, and horseradish dressing. it was ok. After the failures of the past two meals, I didn’t expect anything spectacular. The fries that came with the sandwich were once again overly cooked and way too salty. My boyfriend ordered a bacon wrapped meatloaf sandwich with fries. He said it was just alright. Overall I’m very disappointed with Wolfgang puck express. People shouldn’t be paying money for burnt food.

Just need a quick late night bite to eat and grabbed an order of the buffalo wings with a beer. Wings were really really good, nice and spicy. Grabbed a Sam Adams Cold Snap beer while I was at it for $ 4 which is a great price for a casino establishment. Service was excellent and couldn’t complain if I tried. A decent casino spot to grab some food with above average quality for a food court set up. I’m a fan I’ll be back for the wings they were that good.

Meatloaf and bacon sandwich. Just… wonderful. The pefect food to eat before playing cards, watching a horse race, or quite frankly, anything but swimming.

Food used to be excellent. They removed half of the menu and changed all existing items from what they were. Including the clam chowder which used to be great. It’s now more of a salty brown base. The meatloaf sandwich is not what it used to be also portion sizes much smaller along with higher costs.

They changed their menu, portions and quality of food while keeping the higher prices. I don’t mind paying for top quality, but I have no idea what Metz was thinking by providing low quality products. I was very disappointed. They used to be as good as Panera… Now they don’t come close.

Working my way through the menu… have not been disappointed yet. I recommend the salmon entrée.

This was a great place to eat conveniently located in the food court. It has something for just about anyone, and after the meal you can walk across the food court to get ice cream, pastries, or even pretzels!

I stopped here at the end of my Mohegan Sun night, basically so I could say that I ate at one of Wolfgang Puck’s restaurants. I mean, I’m aware that’s a technicality in this case, but it’s good enough for me, damn it! I didn’t want too much to eat, so I went for the side of the four cheese macaroni, a snickerdoodle cookie, and a bottle of water. It was a $ 9 outlay. Hey, spending $ 9 and getting something that Wolfgang Puck is willing to put his name on has to be worth something. So yes, in the end this is a food court stand. But, it is probably one of the most well run stands I’ve ever seen. Everyone was so nice, they brought the food out to me after the kitchen put its touches on it, I was impressed with the service. But let me tell you about that mac and cheese… I could see paying $ 8 minimum for a dish of that alone in a higher end restaurant. This dish oozed cheese. I mean, I’m talking picking up a forkful, and having strings of cheese dripping from your fork to the plate. I had to use my finger just to break it many times. And yeah, the taste lived up to the look. This is probably one of the most perfect late night snacks I’ve ever had. And the cookie… I’ll be damned if it wasn’t one of the better snickerdoodles I’ve ever had. Nice size, perfect texture and taste, it won me over big time. I’m only keeping it at 4 stars because the bottle of water was $ 3. Heck, the water cost almost as much as my mac and cheese. But that’s only a minor complaint. Actually, I’d easily give this place 4.5 stars if I could. That mac and cheese was a 5 star dish in my book though.

This is one of the best places to eat inside Mohegan. They had very fresh sandwiches and salads. The line was always long but it moves rather quickly. They bring your food to you and the staff was always eager to tend to any and all of your needs. Overall, great place to grab dinner or lunch. OH, and the Pottsville Republican puts out deals where you spend $ 20.00 and get $ 20 bucks to Wolfgang and $ 20 in free slot play! Watch for them because it’s really a great deal and makes for a fun afternoon/evening.

I’ve been to this location a few times. It’s helpful that it’s part of the Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs casino complex in Wilkes-Barre. It’s sort of like a classy upscale place that’s part of a food court. Interesting. Some of the food here is absolutely sinful, and yes, I have gotten the bacon wrapped meatloaf sitting on a bed of mashed potatoes before. It’s quite good… perhaps a bit over seasoned. The pizzas here are always a good bet, and the sausage pizza was really tasty. The ravioli here was a bit disappointing as the portion was a bit tiny. Next time you find yourself gambling away here, check it out, you might be surprised at the quality of food you get from the food court!

Each time we’ve visited and ordered pizza, it has been excellent. Ingredients were fresh and brilliantly put together. Will be trying other items on the menu shortly. Downside is that it is located inside the Mohegan Sun casino. But it is worth a trip just to have a meal at this restaurant.

This restaurant is inside the Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs Casino. The food was excellent. When you go, you must have the Teriyaki Salmon and Potatoes. It was my first time visiting and i will be back. The prices are pretty great too!
