From what I’ve experienced, the staff there is nice. They have a decent selection of art supplies. As a painter, I went in there because it’s conveniently close rather than running out to Michael’s. The reason I give it three stars is that they are overpriced. I understand that they’re not a chain store so they need to raise prices a little to stay in business, but the difference adds up and it’s a little too wide of a gap. When buying tubes of paint, I wouldn’t care to pay a dollar or two more, but when there’s a $ 5+ difference per tube, it’s just not a wise investment. I think they jack up prices because they send art students there from Wilkes University and Kings College. I went with a friend at Wilkes to pick up their art kit for one design class and it was over $ 100 for a kit with supplies that should have cost $ 40. I always walk by and see their ridiculously overpriced easels in the window and think of the price stickers at Michael’s. They do have a nice selection of brushes though. I don’t mind spending more on something unique and durable like that, but just a fair warning to any first timers to be mindful of the difference!

Staff took the time to look at my art, go through mattings and frames, make recommendations, and they wanted me to be certain I would love the finished product. And I do! Beautiful off white silk matting in a dark wood frame. The job was done quickly and the price was fair. I highly recommend this place for custom framing.

Extremely professional and knowledgeable staff. This is the place to go if you want to have something framed or are in need of art supplies. I have had many posters, prints and paintings framed here and they do quality work in a very timely manner. The staff are well trained, not some high school kid like you might find at Michaels. Only the best quality materials and they will work with you to stay within your budget and offer suggestions to enhance your work.
