Harbor Mist Motel

Myself and my family spent five nights and six days recently at Harbor mist motel. Overall we were very pleased and would definitely stay here again. The location was perfect, just a block from the beach and a few short blocks to the boardwalk, and in my opinion North Wildwood is the best part of Wildwood to stay in. The owner took pride in his motel he was out there every morning cleaning the pool and the chairs and the grills. The maid service was wonderful they made the beds and provided new towels and vacuumed and cleaned up daily. The place was very clean, pool was clean and wonderful, grills worked great. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars was because I wasn’t too happy with the air conditioning situation there was just one wall unit in the kitchen area but we had the apartment with two bedrooms so they got very hot if you wanted to close the door for privacy, and the beds weren’t very comfortable, they we’re very hard, but even with that said the good definitely outweighed the bad and I look forward to staying there again.

Super Clean! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Lisa goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is more than you were expecting. Richard was very accommodating with reservations offering an early check in and a late check out.
The room was very clean, smelled very fresh, not that musty beach smell that other hotels may have. Bathroom super clean. Fridge clean. It was nice to have a coffee pot, toaster, microwave, and dinnerware. The free WiFi was a plus and worked better than my Verizon 4G network. Nice flat screen TV. The décor was very welcoming and modern. The AC unit cooled the room rather fast.
The pool felt great perfect temperature and very clean. The grounds very clean and the gas grills were nice added touch.
Perfect walking distance to the active boardwalk and quite enough to take peaceful naps during the day. The entrance to the beach was only a short walk ½ a block. And the section of the break was very quaint and clean.
The beds are very very firm. However they do have egg crate padding, which Lisa was very kind to offer, and it did help. Bring a sleep mask if your easily woken with the morning light. Our room was very bright at 6:30am. However they do have other rooms that don’t have the lower windows that cause it to be so bright. The sleep mask helped a lot.
Overall impression SUPER friendly staff, SUPER Clean, has the feeling of a family that takes pride in how their quaint motel is operated. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure your vacation is the way they would want their vacation to be peaceful, relaxing, and fun! I would highly recommend booking a stay! This was our first visit and we’ll definitely be back!

Just had the best vacation at the Harbor Mist. Very very clean and super friendly accommodating staff. Reasonably priced as well. A great place to stay.

My family stayed this past weekend with some friends. While the motel was clean and the staff was very nice and accommodating, and it’s not far from the boardwalk, there were some major downfalls. 1) The beds are very hard and uncomfortable, we were barely able to sleep at all. 2) while free wifi was available, the service was horrible. 3) we had a 2 bedroom efficiency with another couple and were only allowed one parking space, I do understand that there’s limited parking but if your paying for a 2 bedroom with 2 couples there should be an allotted 2 spaces for that room. The last thing we wanted was for the other couple to get a ticket, which they did, right out front the motel. 4) no pets allowed. I noticed that the dog beach in wildwood was not far from the hotel and wished I could have brought my dogs…
I will most likely be looking for a different motel next year
