Days Inn & Suites Wildwood

I was fulled by the staff not only once but twice, I booked room 303 with my daughter Cathy for the horse show, then when we arrived they told me I can only get 501 not to disappoint my Daughter we stay the refrigerator was rusted and smelled very bed inside, I went back twice after that and I got room 303, I booked room 303 for today half way there I call spoke to agent (Helen) she first made me wait a lot, then came back to phone and told me something was wrong with the room 303 and she had 403 since I was 1 hour away I say ok, arriving I spill water on a dirty rug by the elevator, as I enter the room 403 I was going to put my bag in the bed I stop it was black insects in the bed, dirty on the floor musty smelled, rusted refrigerator dirty rugs, really dirty and dusty, then Helen call me and told me my dog pee on the rug not TRUTH and I prove it pee is yellow not white, pee smell and it didn’t, so I left in a scale from 1 to 10 I GIVE THEN A BIG (O) and NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN BEST HOTEL THE ROYAL HAWAIAN BEEN GOING THERE FOR YEARS IS CLEAN THE STAFF ARE AWESOME AND MOST OF ALL HONEST

This place was nice and clean an AC worked great. Beds were comfortable. The staff at the front desk was a bit unfriendly and ill humored. Although at check out I spoke to a woman who was a manager and she was very polite. She even refunded us some money because the water was not working on the first morning but through no fault of theirs. I would recommend this place.

This hotel is horrible! If you come to wildwood I do not recommend staying here. The hotel is terribly outdated and the staff at the front desk (the manager especially) is SO rude. You pay such a high price for filthy quality. We couldn’t even sit on the couch without getting itchy and the spare bed the hotel provided us with was filled with stains. And the wifi is shit too, it barely works and there’s a reason it’s free. There are two pools that are very tiny and not very clean. If you want a good experience at wildwood, DO NOT stay here!

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Customer service is very rude and unprofessional. The suites are very very filthy and run down. You would be better of sleeping in the woods. It was raining inside of my room as if I was outside.

I called today desperate to find a one night stay at literally any Wildwood Hotel for Sept 21 — 22. I found a couple off options but Helen @ The Days Inn literally won my heart. Helen was funny, charming, endearing and just a flat our blast to chat with. I can’t wait to meet her when I check in with my friend on September 21^st! I may even bring her a present.
I’ve stayed at my fair share of hotels, especially in Wildwood NJ but I have never felt excited to meet the person who helped me with my reservation.
Helen — if you ever read this… You Rock Hard Core!

This was the second time staying here, and my experience is completely different from the previous reviews. Our room including all of the kitchen items were clean. We did rewash the utensils and plates before use, just to be sure. I like the ceramic tiled floor in the main room. The two beds and sofa bed were comfortable. The staff was friendly. The pools well kept. On the sun deck, there are two propane Weber grills, should you decide to grill your meal. I was able to park under the building, keeping my truck out of sun. Had all those spaces been taken, there are ample parking spaces on the property. Our WiFi only worked on the balcony, my only disappointment.
The hotel is in a very good location, by the Convention Center. We walked to the beach using their pier, which saved a hundred yards of trudging through hot sand. Also, they provide public bathrooms. Within a few blocks of the hotel you have, a bagel shop, pizzeria, sandwich shop, ice cream, liquor store, and of course the boardwalk.
My wife, children, and I will return.

Not good. It’s like a cheap roadside motel. This place is good for young college kids who spend all day at the beach. It’s terribly outdated. You can feel the germs all around you. It’s pretty bad. The worst thing is the price, it’s more than the highest rated Wildwood hotels. Now, if you just need a bed and a shower after a long day at the beach it’s ok, if your willing to pay a high price for it.

I stayed there in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. The stay was paid for by the federal government and the staff treated us like cockroaches. A chambermaid, a fat older white woman, took a dirty towel off of the floor and wiped the bathroom with it. She then folded it and placed it with the clean towels even though I had no issues with her previously. No action was taken by the manager.
Another chambermaid, young and African American, entered my room even though the DO NOT DISTURB sign was posted. I sent a complaint above the manager’s head to corporate via the internet. And the black girl was fired but not the fat white one mentioned above. Soon afterwards I saw the same girl back on the job.
The manager, a fat Italian woman, then harrangued me because I sent an email to her manager and pressured me to leave the motel which I couldn’t afford to do at the time.
Don’t stay here. They staff might be unreliable and the manager doesn’t give a damn about our rights. My safe also had the combination changed which can only be done by the manager’s key. Terrible place; enought said :(

Great staff at the front desk but this hotel is horribly out dated. The furniture smells and I would never sit on it. The beds are scary. I disinfected mine before I layed in it. If I could sleep sitting up I would have. They have regular box TVs and no HD channels. No room service and depending on the time of year almost everything is closed. The free WIFI is a joke. It barley works.
Seriously, this place seems like the kind of hotel that Norman Bates would visit. I personally think that they need to rip this place down and go with about half the size. Make it modern, clean and simply just better. For all travelers coming to Wildwood, don’t do it.

Room was not clean and not well maintained. Expected atleast an average room based on the premium price paid on a holiday weekend. Wifi barely worked. I will not book here again

Dirty and expensive. Hair all over the walls in the bathroom. Bathroom door was filthy. Door peeling and chipped paint. Black mold in grout. Sofa in LR was nasty I wouldn’t sit on it with shorts on. The room was large and we liked the separate bedroom. The bedroom area was clean. WiFI worked great. I wouldn’t stay here again though just because the room was so dirty.
