We came here on a really slow Monday afternoon. Its easy to see how this place could get busy on the weekends. Cool beachy theme and decent ocean views. We didnt eat but the food looked good. A tab with two beers was almost $ 15.

Service was terrible and slow and a blonde waitress who WASNT even our waitress was terribly rude! Didn’t even have silverware for ten minutes after the food arrived, half the food was brought to the table not finished or incorrect. Took 20+ minutes just to get the checks. Food was decent but nothing great to make up for the bad service;

$ 5.50 for a bottle of yuengling. That’s an entire six pack folks. For one beer… Screw this place. I can get better drink prices at a 5 star restaurant or a really nice bar.

food was ok– nothing great nothing terrible. Theynhave booze for which i did not partake in. The atmosphere is the best thing they have going for them. I would do it again. Typical shore, tourist prices.

Pretty standard bar food. Reasonably priced. Staff is usually very friendly although we have had less than attentive waitresses A few times. Bartender is usually good. We usually stop here every time we’re in Wildwood.

Gone here a few times when in Wildwood. Food is always consistent. It is a quick and convenient place to eat right on the boardwalk. We had the Caribbean eggrolls for an appetizer and a chipotle chicken sandwich. Both were very good. Would recommend when looking for something other than pizza.

Really enjoy this place. This was my second time here. The first time we sat upstairs and loved the atmosphere and the view of the beach. The food was great. My husband LOVED his pulled pork sandwich. Tonight we only went for drinks. Our waiter didn’t seem too well versed in bar drinks but he was a sweetheart. It got brought up that it was my birthday weekend and so our waiter came out with a dessert for me with«Happy Birthday» written on the plate in carmel(at no charge). He also gave us a free shot. Great service!

Service was fine. Had pressed Cuban, mostly pita bread with very little pulled pork and ham, no taste. Had been there before with no complaints.

The mouse that ran across my foot was not the greatest indication that my dining experience would get any better. The fries seemed like they had been soaking in grease for several hours. The fish tacos were not much better. Not sure what nautical creature comprised the taco meat but I have my suspicions it was NOT fish. Not sure who owns this place, but he/she needs to stop taking advantage of customers by offering substandard food. Terrible experience. I’ll stick to Sam’s pizza.

Pros: Really good fries. Burger I had was pretty good. Fair prices. Cons: Took a while for waitress to reach us. Items on the menu were unavailable. I ordered the Texas Burger. Thats a burger with pulled pork and cheese. I could barely taste the pork. It could have used more sauce. The beef was good though. The fries were very salty, but seasoned and delicious. My wife had the buffalo chicken fingers. They were a bit too spicy for her, but I loved them. They were a bit soggy though.

Possibly the worst experience I’ve had at any dining establishment. Inattentive staff, hair in my food and excessive waits for appetizers are not the only thing I encountered while eating here. Management doesn’t care about service or customers and the staff is rudely absent when you need them most. After my near 30min wait for my captain Jack cheese fries, they would have been delicious had it not been for the short curly hair I found in it. I would never return here or eat at this establishment where food safety and customer service are held at such a subpar standard.

If this doesn’t make you happy and healthy I don’t know what will: On a nice summer evening have a seat on the patio overlooking the boardwalk madness, order a Loose Cannon IPA and a blackened tuna salad.

Our dinner here was only OK. On Mondays they have five dollar margaritas. My Margarita was really good and seemed pretty strong. We ordered nachos and they arrived cold and my friend pulled a piece of plastic out of her mouth while we were eating them. I have the steak sandwich and it was OK, the highlight of my meal was the fries which were thin crispy and had old Bay seasoning. Everyone else said their food was OK. I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to go back but if others wanted to go there I wouldn’t protest. Our server was ok but we had to ask for a lot of things, like plates for our apps and silver wear to eat our meals.

So went for a special dinner with family. Had a waiting line so put name in and requested upstairs. Hostess said 10 – 15 min. Waited, waited, waited. Finally 30 minutes and called, they were putting us at the kitchen door… when explained said sorry would be a few more minutes. Apparently someone from corporate was trying to help. So we are bypassed again for another group that was there after Us For the deck. We had 4 plus a high chair. Expressed displeasure but was told we were next. Then they called a group of 7, honestly the hostess did not know how to handle this and should not be. Corporate guy stopped the seven in mid track and moved us in. Service was poor. Food ok.

A friend and I were looking to grab drinks, a quick snack, and a view of the boardwalk– Capt’n Jack’s provided all three. When we arrived we asked to sit in the front section which opens up to the boardwalk– which they accommodated very quickly. After sitting down the waitress came over right away with menus. We each ordered Reds Apple Ale($ 8.50 for 24 oz) and an appetizer of sweet potato fries($ 8). I thought these prices were fair– but I probably wouldn’t want to order a full meal from here, especially with SAM’s pizza right across the boardwalk. In addition to the downstairs seating there is a roof top– which could get a bit windy. There are a few TVs and all of the staff seemed very nice. If you do sit downstairs with the boardwalk view– be warned– people will lean on the rail right next to your table which is kind of weird. I will be visiting again.

Reminds me of Margaritaville. But it is not… For what it is, a restaurant on the wildwood boardwalk, it’s decent. While again searching for quality dining on the boardwalk, we came across this cute spot. It has two floors and has a Tiki/island theme to it. With bamboo and palm leaves all over, its a quick pause from the usual carnival settings of a boardwalk… We were seated quick. It was a loud setting which was nice because my daughter was cranky lol… The waitress was very nice. I ended up getting a Cuban sandwich with fries and my boyfriend got a crab cake sandwich .The cuban was pretty good and the pork was tender and juicy, the sandwich was very tasty. My boyfriend’s crab cake sandwich looked pretty pathetic but tasted good. My daughter got a kid’s pizza and it was way undercooked. We also had nachos as an app and they were great. I should of had a drink but didn’t. Oh well next time. It was a cute little place on the boardwalk where you could actually sit down. I think i’d try it again when on the look out out for more then«boardwalk fare».

Tourist Trap. Came here for dinner tonight with a group of people. We had excellent service, and were seated promptly. Food was eh. I had the fish tacos-they were good but covered in a mayo sauce. Other people at the table ordered fish bowls(for 25 $!!) and said they were good. Overall, good location, good atmosphere, decent/typical food, but WAYYY over priced. Beers were $ 6.50 each! I probably won’t be back.

Pro: Friendly staff, fun boardwalk view. Good fries! Con: Wasn’t thrilled with the food at all. We had quesadillas there– they didn’t have salsa or guacamole– so needless to say they were very dry(only gave you sour cream). My husband and I prob. wouldn’t go back — just because there is better food on the boardwalk, for a whole lot less money!

I’m only giving this place three stars because the staff was nice and their drinks are good. This place is a fake Island Paradise set up on WildWood’s boardwalk. It’s literally a plastic Island hut and it’s very windy, all the time apparently. Comparable to the mini-sandstorm we got caught up in when we went to sand bathe on the beach… I mean sun bathe. To drink I had the virgin strawberry daiquiri, hubby had rum runners. We both enjoyed our drinks a lot. The food ranged from terrible to just all right. We started out with an app of fried pickles. I believe that was the best thing I ate out of the whole meal. They may have made these themselves. It was vertically sliced pickles fried up in a batter and served with an interesting creamy sauce. I had two main meals(well part of one, all of the other). First I asked for the hummus trio. Well it pretty much sucked @ss. I didn’t think hummus tasted terrible until I ate this stuff. I refuse to eat food that I don’t like because I don’t want to waste the calories. If I’m going to be semi-fat it’s helpful if I like what I eat so it’s a little worth it. I got our waitress to the table and explained to her that even though I don’t want to be a pain in the ass I didn’t like the hummus trio. She got the manager and they were very nice and agreed to let me swap the dish for something else. I opted for a flat bread pizza which still wasn’t great but at least edible. Hubby had a quesidilla with krinkle cut fries that may have been pre packaged from BJs or something like that. I never believe krinkle cut fries are home made. Overall this is a good place for drinks but I wouldn’t eat here.
