Bakr Sabry MD

Dr sabry is an amazing doctor .he spent time with each child .i take my 3 kids there. unlike most doctors who let the nurses do their work, dr sabry is very friendly and he takes the time to discuss each child !!

He is just horrible all around. I went in for my sons anual and he started going over healthy eating and said it makes u gain weight blah blah and i said my son is pretty good about eating healthy and the doctor says while pointing at me «oh no you». I am heavy but guess what im not your patient and you dont know my medical history which I do have medical problems which cause problem with weight gain and also loosing it. Another thing that is irritating is that he doesnt listen to whats wrong with my son, my son is always sick so he just prescribes claritin (which doesnt help) this time his tonsils and lymph nodes are inlargered, he cant eat bc he is in so much pain and he vomits his meals bc it is difficult for him. The doctor just said oh he is good ill just give some antibiotic, i asked for a throat culture done to see what is causing it, the doctor faught with me, i also asked to be referred out to an ENT doctor for further checking on why he is have issues every month and he litterally refused it till he over heard me telling my husband that we will just take him to urgent care and switch doctors. My son is special needs on top of all this, and i asked for a prescription for pedicare since he cant eat and again refused it. So i called insurance personally. In all hes just bad and yes i did switch doctors right after that appt today.

Prior to Dr. Bakr my children had another local pediatrician whose office staff were a nightmare and unbelievable incompetent and unable to process a referral over 6 months. Finally I threw my hands up and moved to another pediatrician. In ONE WEEK I had my son’s referrals for various tests. After each of the tests I received a phone call personally fro Dr. Bakr explaining the results in an extremely timely manner (one was within the hour). I cannot explain how refreshing it is to have a pediatrician’s office actually care about the patient. Great doctor.

We love Dr. Bakr! He is the Pediatrician for my 3 kids and he and his office staff are fantastic! We are able to get appointments in a timely manner. We never have to wait long in the office for the assistant to take us back to a room. We even forgot about an appointment one morning and the front office girl told us to just come in as soon as we could later on that morning. Everyone in the office is friendly and professional– I wish all doctor’s offices ran like this.

I’ve been taking my children to doctor bakr since birth 9 years ago he is a nice doctor and his nurse is too. My only complaint is that his office is always hot and I think he could hire a better cleaning team it needs a complete wipe down.

We love Dr. Bakr! He is very nice, compassionate, and easy to talk to. Very knowledgable and always answers any questions I’ve had. Our 14 month old is his patient and he always smiles when the doctor comes in the room. His nurse is very nice as well. We’ve never had to wait long and we’ve been able to go in the same day when my son needed to be seen right away. He even gives you his direct number for any after hour emergencies and he has always answered or called me back right away even on the weekends. I am so glad we found such a great pediatrician!

Best pediatrician my 7 kids ever had!!! Was seeing him for 13 years until my company decides to go with 1 HMO plan Kaiser. That’s when we lost Dr Bakr. =(Everytime my younger kids get a booboo they always ask me «Can we go to Dr Bakr’s to fix my booboo?»

Hands down the best pediatrician, EVER! I nearly had my baby in our car while trying to get to the hospital that he services, his staff is great, and he is SO wonderful with my kids. We drive from San Clemente to see him and do so with no regrets.

I was recommended this doctor by a trusted friend and now I know why. Excellent pediatrician. Great with my kids for both well and sick visits. I drive 40 mins just to see him!
