The Local Press

Amazing clam chowder on Friday all the soups are to die for. I have eaten all that is on the menu and some of the specials that Zack has offered love the fact that everything is fresh. I recommend the local press to every one I see. keep up the great work

This place is awesome! We were traveling between Las Vegas and Tucson and looked on Unilocal and found this place.
I tried the Local, my wife the Gobbler and my daughter the grilled cheese. All three sandwiches were amazing. The Macaroni salad was also very good.
The place is small and quaint with nice outdoor seating. It is defiantly a must stop on your way to Phoenix!

We were «out Wickenburg way» for a few days last week to get out of the Idaho cold. Our last day there we stopped in at The Local Press to see if the sandwiches were as good as advertised. We only had one, but if the rest even come close, this is the best panini shop I’ve been to.
We split the Turkey Gobbler which was comprised of roasted turkey, bacon, green apples and brie. A fantastic flavor combination with all components playing a supporting roll. Add to that a perfectly grilled sandwich that avoided being too heavy from too much fat and you have the perfect sandwich.
We’ll be back next February.

The best i have had in a long time. One of those stops you have to make, i went out my way a bit coming and going through town and it was more than worth it. I had the gold rush menu so i dont think those sandwiches are on the regular menu but we got one of each and they were all great.

We literally tried everything on the gold rush days menu and it was ALL good! The owner Zac is super nice

Drove through and happened upon this place, so good i made sure i stopped on the way back home. Too good to pass up.

The owners are very welcoming with a great sense of humor. My daughter and I had the Chicken Caprese and the Grinder. Both were amazing! We will be regulars.

Excellent Sandwich bar! Some of the best sandwiches in Arizona are made here, Staff is extremely friendly, a must stop place in Wickenburg! (Including the best sandwich place in town!!!)

I’m so happy to have come across The Local Press! Their amazing yet creative variety of quality tasting sandwiches is sure to hit the spot! My son loved his grilled cheese and I had the mouth-​watering Gobbler!!! Delicious!!! Thank you for being in existence Local Press!

This place is the perfect fusion of hip and western. They also make a pretty good sandwich.

Excited to see a new business in town. Located near «downtown» and just a short walk from Tegner Street, The Local Press definitely offers a bit of posh to little old Wickenburg.
I dropped in to pick up a Christmas gift certificate for my dad, who had tried The Local Press earlier in the week. In his words, the sandwich (a Reuben) was really good, but for the price, you didn’t get any of the usual sides, like chips and a pickle. I decided to get a gift certificate so that he could «splurge» and enjoy a good lunch a couple times without worrying about the cost. They do accept credit cards, which are run via the Square app. Easy peasy.
The restaurant was clean and modern, and the two employees were helpful and friendly. Spending $ 10 on a tasty sammie is a bit of a reach for me, especially when no sides are included. However, I’ll be more than happy to support any local business that brings new and interesting facets to the community, and look forward to eating a sandwich of my own during my next visit.

5 star all the way! Fresh homemade and the most delisious place to eat in Wickenburg! My favorites… The Big Cheese and Blazing Saddles. This is definitely a place you need to stop in at every time your in town!

The new best spot for sandwiches in Wickenburg. A cute quaint place with picnic tables outside to dine at. The sandwiches are amazing. I had the chicken caprese with prosciutto and pesto aioli. The panini press style sandwiches are great. The wife had the greek goddess which was a great selection of veggies served cold. We also tried the grilled cheese which had prickly pear jelly and an assortment of cheeses pressed panini style.
If in Wickenburg, you have to try the local press!

Stopped in Wickenburg on the way from Phoenix to Vegas for a quick bite. So happy I chose this place! Absolutely delicious, everything is homemade even the mayo. I got the Local and added roasted tomatoes. Yum!

Great pressed sandwiches. I had the Prime — the roast beef is superb, with a mild but distinct zest. Gorgeous day to picnic on the tables in the side yard. My wife had the Porky’s Nightmare. She raved about the baguette.

Awesome and delicious! Creative and healthy. What a treat for a weary traveler. Delicious vegetarian green goddess sandwich. Mostly great looking meat options though too. Thank you!
