This little motel looks nice on the outside, but that’s about it. Non smoking rooms reek of smoke. No ice machine. Uncomfortable, noisy beds. The toilet leaks on the bathroom floor, black mold and lots of hair in the shower. And to top it off, you gotta put some shoulder into it to get the door open.

A basic motel. Two double beds — quite comfortable. Duvets! Thank you. None of those grubby bedspreads. Our room was equipped with a small fridge and microwave. Everything was spotless. Basic cable and wifi. We paid $ 56. Well done.

Clean, quaint, economical and the owners & Managers are very friendly and helpful. Older motel but newly painted & new carpeting with kitchenette. Mattress are comfortable and upgraded. Great place to stop for a good night’s rest. There is also a pool which we did not use in the winter but I am sure it is a great asset in the summer. I would highly recommend it and definitely stay there again.

Small simple place to stay cheap only paid $ 50. Only place there was to stay due to snow storm. Owners where very nice but if your looking for a place to stay that’s nice don’t go here could use a lot of tlc. Shower tiles where cracked and broken. The wall near the bed was tagged. The bed omg my back is killing me, it’s so soft you fall in and sink. The only source of heat was a plug in heater which at the cold low temp of 20’s didn’t do a thing. We had to take all the blankets from second bed pill on the on and than wear all our clothing and jackets huddled together trying to stay warm. If you have a choice stay somewhere else.

I was looking for a motel for my dad to stay in for the night to get a shower, a bed abs just rest. He’d been camping for 5 months since he lost his home and everything in the big Yarnell, AZ fire. The camping is his choice but every now and then he likes to get a room. I called around for reasonable rates, early check-in and maybe a senior discount. Motel 8 was like $ 80& they actually gave me the number to Log Wagon Inn. Thought that was very nice of them. When I called the lady was VERY nice! She said $ 50 cash! I knew dad would be happy with that. Needless to say, he loved the place! The staff was very nice to him and he talked with the same lady I did. I want to say her name was Sheila, but I have such a bad memory. I just want to say thank you to them for being so nice and so helpful! I would love to check it out when we come to AZ. Thank you! Sincerely, April Haselbusch And my dad who stayed there, Chuck Roberts

It is by far the cheapest motel in the town. Is it worth the price of $ 50 though? Well I’ll let you decide. –Ugly flat screen with basic channels –Extremely dilapidated –Decent beds although there was dog hair all over the pillows –NOWIFIATALL**** –No morning breakfast –No laundry –Bathroom is ugly and far from spacious –Old and dirty look –See through shower curtain(wtf?) I will say this. I believe fully that the owners have done the best they could for what it is. But at the end of the day it’s just not a good motel. We called in two hours before we arrived and reserved a room and they didn’t have us down when we showed up! They told us that they would put us in a room for now but that they might have to move us! Also, the air conditioning was warm at best. I haven’t even slept yet and I couldn’t even imagine sleeping under even a sheet. We stayed at the best western before right down the road and that was a pretty awesome hotel. The first best western ever built in the country I was told! It had the old Wild West feel and was well maintained. Very very spacious. I recommend staying there, it’s worth the price.

My boyfriend stayed here for years because it was cheap, clean, and run by friendly people. The old owners have sold and now have a new on-site manager, Sheri. When we went to reserve a room for this year, the rates had gone WAY up. We felt they were kind of high for the quality of the room, but were willing to go with it because it was better than an unknown place(we thought). We figured that they had raised their rates because they had finally made some improvements to the business. We had reserved a room several weeks in advance and on the day we were to check in, we called Sheri about 4:30 pm(WELL after check-out time for any previous tenants — so she should have been well aware of any problems) and told her we were running late but would be there. She told us that was fine and we made arrangements to get the keys if it was after she had gone to bed. We arrived to find a note saying that the prevous tenants had had a water fight INSIDE the room and there were still a couple of small wet spots but that they SHOULD be dry by the next day. There had been NO mention of the status of the room when she had spoken to us. We entered the room at 8:30pm to find wet spots ALL over the carpet in the room including a HUGE wet spot right in front of the bathroom. We didn’t feel comfortable setting ANY of our bags or personal belongings anywhere. We were tired but still considered staying the one night then finding something else for the remainder of the time. The carpet was so wet that basically, if we had to get up to use the bathroom in the night, we would walk through cold, wet carpet to get there. We thought about just dealing with it for the night because we were so tired. In the meantime, my boyfriend went over and woke Sheri up to let her know we were not happy with the rooms’ condition. She reluctantly offered a couple of towels to set down on the floor for the night. While he was over talking to Sheri, I sat down for a few seconds to figure out what we wanted to do. I looked up at the ceiling and saw a bunch of brownish water spots ALL over the ceiling. GROSS! After showing my boyfriend what I had found, we put all of our personal belongings back in the car and left. We will NEVER stay at this place again! We ended up finding a Motel 6 near Surprise which was actually CHEAPER than this dive in Wickenberg.
