I have had vision issues since 5^th grade and have always been interested in LASIK but never really considered it due to cost. I started investigating my insurance and realized that I could use Qualsight LASIK thought my insurance to help offset the costs. Qualsight LASIK partnered with Wichita Vision Institute and even though they were not my regular eye doctor I felt at home there. While the wait times may be a little longer, they do a thorough job and really make sure you are a good candidate and your eyes are ready for the procedure. Dr. Patel is really nice and easy to talk to. I highly recommend both Qualsight and WVI/​Dr. Patel. Just do it you will not regret it! I still see perfect a year later and I was around ²⁰⁄₄₀₀ before.

Getting LASIK was one of the best decisions I ever made. I was also happy with my selection of my surgeon. Dr. Patel is board certified and attended many prestigious universities. Dr. Patel’s credentials were impressive and her friendly manner put me at ease. Dr. Patel and her staff are very professional and hard working. I highly recommend Dr. Patel and Wichita Vision Institute to anyone needing a great ophthalmologist.
