The Liquor Cabinet

Went in looking for a few specific scotches and whiskeys, heard they had quite the selection, which they do, a plus for them. Saw what I wanted (Yamazaki 12) and when inquiring about the price, I was blown away to hear how much it was. Wanted almost 200 dollars for a bottle that would normally cost 85 – 100 dollars. Also inquired about the Yamazaki 18 and even more blown away that it was selling for 1000 dollars! I asked how come it was so expensive and the guy behind the counter said that we were tired of people coming in and buying us out and selling them online for 3 – 4 times the price. They wanted to make sure the people actually buying them are going to drink them…(so you gotta pay to play). I thought it was illegal to sell alcohol online but I guess that’s news to me. Went a few miles down the street and while this liquor store didn’t have it, the owner tracked down what I needed and sold it to me for RETAIL price of 85 dollars a bottle. Saved me almost 200 dollars if I woulda bought them here. Like I said, great selection but prices need adjusting.
BTW I don’t plan on selling and plan on drinking every last drop!

The place is not huge, but they have a good selection of wines and cold beers. It is clean, and the staff were nice and helpful. They also have a rewards program that can save you money on a future purchase.

This is a great place to shop & I consider myself kind of an expert on liquor stores :) the owners are fantastic Annie, Jay & Annie’s husband are the kindest people, they truly care about their store & their customers! The store has every brand of every alcohol available, every inch of the store is packed full! The temp controlled wine room, beer cave & LCD lighting sets the mark a step above their closest competitor, not to mention their pricing is fantastic! They also have a smoke shop full of great cigars & accessories, this is the only smoke shop that I have found in the area! So stop in for an adult beverage & a fine cigar! Support your local family owned businesses, those dollars stay local :)
