Starbucks

The Starbucks on West St. has improved so much. They have new staff that is wonderful and friendly. Good job!

Would like to thank this local Starbucks for helping me get through the week of ⁸⁄₂₃. (And for my colleague as well, since he likely doesn’t use Unilocal.) But yeah. If you think this parking lot sucks, the one near my house in St. Louis is the WORST design configuration ever, and I want to smack whomever came up with that shit. This one is a little tight, yea, but it’s not the end of the world. FAR from the madness that is the 5^th street Starbucks back home.
All the employees here were very friendly and for the most part, quite efficient! Even the drive through (which I only utilized once) was insanely quick. I’d say we had a sufficient enough sample size to determine this place was on-​point.
The only thing that sucked? Construction right at the 54 ramp made this place reallllly annoying to get to. But could effectively walk from hotel too so that was a plus, only we more or less drove every morning. Really is not Starbuck’s fault for the construction, but it did not seem to be hindering their business. Plus the lot is designed such that you can effectively drive away from the construction by a block or two, make a left, make another left, and cut through some back lots to get to theirs. So at least you can do that. I wish I could say that about the hotel though… ugh.
Also their Strawberry Shortcake frappuchino is reminiscent of Captain Crunch Berries… just sayin’.

Great staff. I can tell they are smart because they put the smiley and genuine workers in the drive-​through window. Makes waiting bearable when they seem to actually care about you and what your plans are that day. Clean, well-​groomed, and respectful staff. After only a week, they know my order. A+ staff and great cup of joe!

For a while, this was my «second line» Starbucks, only to the one at 21^st & Amidon. After being kind of burned out on how busy the 21 & Amidon one gets, I may make this one my go to location. It seems a little bigger than the other one. Staff is super friendly and the service is quick!!!

Not the fastest Starbucks I have been to but they were super nice and worth trying out. We were having an issue with Starbucks inside a Dillion’s Grocery store on West Maple street and decided to give these guys a try. They couldn’t be any worse because the two clowns on Maple street are all around horrible.
So thanks guys you made a traveling family happy with their daily fill of java on a long trip.

After traveling almost 1000 miles I finally came across a starbucks. My wife and I were ecstatic, since we have a bit of a coffee problem and have been drinking horrible truck stop coffee for the past 20 hours. We made our way off the freeway and headed in for some coffee. I walked up to the counter and was basically invisible, finally one of the two girls working the drive through said someone would be with me in a minute, okay, that’s fine, I continue to wait and even contemplate leaving due to the need to continue my trip. I really wasn’t sure what was taking so long and after minutes (literally) of waiting a guy with a very nice beard and perfectly groomed hair showed up clearly annoyed that he needed to help anyone, hardly an apology or anything of the sort. I smiled and ordered my coffee. He poured my coffee and left a cup for one of the busy drive through workers to fill with the milk I ordered, after finally realizing they wouldn’t be filling that up anytime soon he reluctantly filled it for me. Barely received any sort of recognition that my order had been filled.
Needless to say I won’t be returning to this Starbucks on the return trip home.

Just spent 15 minutes waiting as others who ordered after me got theirs and left. Finally asked the barista. There was no «sticker» for my drink and I didn’t keep my receipt.
No one apologized and they seemed irritated that I interrupted them to get my drink.

Standard store. Nothing better, nothing worse.

Oatmeal and a grande bold! (on a side note I find it hard to believe that the entire city of Wichita does not have a Starbucks that serves sandwiches?)
