Delicious brats… try the currywurst, which is as common as fast food in Germany. It’s also very appreciated that they provide gluten free buns upon request. I’m also crazy about their apple red cabbage salad. And Manu is super kind and friendly!

One of my favorite trucks in town. The food and service is always top notch. They are definitely worth a stop if you see then around town.

Amazing! They are worth finding! I follow them on fb, and when they’re on the east side, it’s a must! Always so good, my boyfriend always enjoys trying the monthly specials. Friendly service, and great quality of food, especially for coming out of a food truck!

This is the go to spot in Wichita for Brats and many other great items, do yourself a favor and seek them out. You will not be disappointed.

Tried this truck at the last Food Truck Rally and I’m glad that I did! The brats were juicy and flavorful, but what really set them apart was the freshly baked, homemade, toasted hoagie it was served in. It was really the perfect vessel for the bratwurst(I got original). I also ordered a side of German Potato Salad, which would have been better served hot, but tasted just fine. One other thing to note — these guys won’t rip you off on drinks. A bottle of water was only a buck. Try finding THAT on another food truck. If you like grilled meat, and especially if you love bratwursts, this is a truck you need to find.

Wichita’s newest German restaurant is also the only German restaurant, despite our fondness for bierocks. Even better, it’s a food truck, and one that realizes that its portable structure also lends itself to a rapidly-changing menu. You can guarantee you’ll find a couple of brats on the menu, but on everything else they make no promises. Watching their Facebook page, it’s clear they have a love for the food they’re cooking. The core product is easy enough — supply some good brats, throw them on a bakery roll, offer some kraut and grilled onions on top, and you’re good to go. I’m torn on their choice of bun — it’s a little chewier than I would like, and if it was even a little bit stale, it would be a one-way trip to frown town. It wasn’t an issue with the weisswurst I tried, though, and the mild sausage went down easy with the plentiful onions and kraut. The red cabbage slaw that served as my side was equally pretty simple, but I sure do like cabbage. The green apples added a nice and traditional counterbalance. The apple strudel was homemade, but underdone, leaving too much moisture in the apples and the interior of the crust was still soft. As a food truck, Let’m Eat Brats is right up there with Flying Stove in terms of fully embracing the fun atmosphere and variety of menu items they produce. As a German restaurant, they go all in to produce the German foods you like, but also some with which you might not be too familiar, like rumbombe and donauwelle. There’s some imperfections, but for anyone hungry for some German food, they’ve got the basics down well enough.

Great food with super friendly service. I have visited this truck many times and have always been pleased with my meal. The curry wurst with sauerkraut is my favorite but the weiss wurst, beer wurst and bierocks are awesome as well. They are definitely worth tracking down.

Very good brats, and inexpensive. I tried the beer brat, weiss wurst, potato salad, and schnitzel over a few visits. The curry brat is surprising and worth a try. I recommend the sauerkraut relish. Next trip will be beer rocks.
