As a bar: Staff is very friendly, very good selection of drinks, lots of big screen sports if you are into that. Nice club room with games, shuffle board, pool, ect. Decore is hunter /​trophy room motif. If that bothers you, the wildlife are plastic, I hear. But they look real.
As a Grill: Good staff, variety of seating (bar, booth, tall tables…) Menu was 4 pages I think.
We ordered catfish with sides. Order came out fairly rapidly. Catfish was slightly overdone but not enough that we wanted to complain. Hushpuppies were gooy good.

The food here is really, really good. I love the atmosphere, and décor– think hunting lodge. Also good drink prices. I want to come back and try a few more things on the menu. I would have probably given 5 stars by the one item on the menu I was wanting, they were out of. Also they have breakfast, I got to try the pancakes, they are very good, with the hot syrup, oh and they are huge,

Horrible food. We ordered the fried mushrooms and received fried cauliflower, which wasn’t even on the menu. My husband ordered nachos and the beef tasted days old & the chips were soggy. I got the chicken fried chicken. It had more breading than chicken. My mashed potatoes were cold and tasted reheated. This place is also exceptionally loud! I couldn’t even have a conversation with my husband because of some particularly loud guests. We asked the waitress if she could do something about this very obnoxious table and she just laughed nervously and shrugged. We were not the only table bothered by this rowdy group as we heard every party on our side of the wall complain. Nothing was done. SO. the food sucked and the staff are too timid to deal with patrons that are making the rest of the place uncomfortable. We won’t be back.

While the décor is a bit less than sophisticated, the food and drink quality is outstanding.
The hamburgers are fresh ground beef. The catfish was amazing, and where else do you find an Elk steak? By the way– the Elk is fantastic.
I really like the back room. They have seating, a pinball machine, pool table, darts, video games, and even a full size shuffle board table.

We were getting our car tinted just down the road so we walked over here for dinner. It was super yummy. My hubby had the fried bologna sandwich he said it was excellent. I had the chicken fried steak it was huge and yummy.

Very Suprised… this location is notorious for horrid owners… décor is what you would expect with dead animals on every wall. attractive helpful staff and the prices weren’t too bad… this place is a redneck swingers club of the highest order and am sure someone will mount a cousin there soon… my prediction is they get a dance floor and become wichita newest honkey tonk …

I’m always happy to see a new breakfast option on the west side that has traditional diner food and more. Buck’s has only been open since May and started serving breakfast everyday from 6am to 11am a few weeks ago.
I got the basic breakfast plate. The eggs were good and the bacon was thicker and a higher quality than some of the nearby breakfast places. The toast wasn’t really toasted and just seemed to be slightly dry bread, but was still ok.
The waitresses were friendly, attentive and seemed actually happy to be there!
They have a decent variety on the menu and the kitchen is open 7 days a week.
I look forward to coming back and trying more!

Good food, awesome homemade Vanilla ice cream, and great atmosphere!!! Nice game room in the back. If you like the outdoors, hunting, and the old country atmosphere this is the place to come.
