Delicious sandwiches! They don’t carry the chicken curry soup during the summer, so I was disappointed that I couldn’t try that, but the sandwich was fantastic. Very friendly service, but they do have an $ 8 minimum for credit cards. Definitely will be going back!

I was in town looking for sandwiches and I happened to be in this part of town. The prices is a little high from what I’m use to. The sandwiches are decent. The bread is chewy and somewhat crunchy. My daughter said it tasted weird then I realized they don’t use pâté? I’m not sure if I will return due to the prices.

Love the sandwiches here. The spring rolls are a must too! Fast wifi and good Vietnamese coffee made it a nice place to knock out some work as well.

Cute place and convenient location. Price is a little high for sandwich but there aren’t too many options in east Wichita so I would come back.

$ 8 minimum for credit card purchases. The seating inside is a little strange, a mish mosh of chairs/sofas/high tables and normal height tables. I wasn’t there for the seating arrangement, I was there for tasty sandwiches! I was already salivating when we stepped up to the counter to order. They have a wide array of banh mi from the traditional to beef and a whole lot more. No fountain drinks, cans and bottles of water only. The prices are definitely reasonable, less than $ 5 for a sandwich. The baguette’s were amazing! You know a sandwich is gonna be good when you go to take a bite and you can smell the yeast of the bread wafting into the caverns of your brain. The baguette was perfectly balanced or crispy, flaky and a tad chewy in the middle. The traditional banh mi was fantastic. The veggies were shredded just perfectly with a sliver of fresh jalapeño down the middle that made my lips and tongue tingle with delight. We also ordered the beef bahn mi, it was also equally fabulous. The meat was tender, juicy and flavorful and again the veggies were divine. They also serve boba teas. Those unfamiliar with this strange little concoction, get ready! Boba has tapioca balls in the bottom of the cup, a gelatinous ball of goo. I love everything about the drink except for the tapioca, it’s just a texture issue for me and they don’t serve any purpose except looking like fish eye balls in the bottom of your cup. So, go feed your face at Banh Mi!!! These folks know how to make a proper banh mi sandwich!!! Wish I lived closer :)

Delicious banh mi. I love their modest menu as it shows that they want to concentrate on their specialty. They also have soups that go with their breads that I didn’t get to try but it is on my list to try ! Definitely going to bookmark this place for their sandwiches!

Only the second restaurant in town to realize that the banh mi is significant enough to warrant its own restaurant, Banh Mi Ngon goes two steps further than Kimlan by making everything — bread included — from scratch, and doing so in a warm and inviting atmosphere. While the bread is always fresh and good, the crusty baguette didn’t turn out to be my favorite part of the sandwich. That honor went to the pork roll, which is actually quite commonly made from scratch in Vietnamese restaurants, but still stood out among the nine-layer sandwich. There’s some appetizers, a couple of soups, and a few sweet croissants available if you’re interesting in augmenting your meal, but it comes down to the sandwiches and the quality of ingredients contained within. Banh Mi Ngon is a great place regardless of how familiar you are with Vietnamese cuisine.
