All My Sons Moving & Storage of Wichita

I used All My Sons Moving last year and was satisfied with my service. Scheduled another move with them a month before I was to move. 10:00am the day of my move I get a TEXT message telling me they weren’t coming, they didn’t even have the stones to call me. Fortunately after some frantic phone calls I able to line up another company for that afternoon. Texting is probably fine for cancelling a date with a friend, but no way to do business. Only reason there’s one star on this review is zero is an option!

I so wish I had read some of these reviews prior to our move…
I was so disappointed and sickened by All My Sons moving service. We hired them to load a moving truck that we had rented and then hired the same company at our destination to unload.
1^st off let me tell you how the paperwork signing went; when we got to the part about us driving our own rental truck they said that what is not covered is if we wreck the truck then they are not responsible for damage… First mistake, read the 50 page contract word-​for-​word before you sign.
Nonetheless, they loaded us with much bellyaching over our heavy furniture and sent us on our way. 2 hours later we arrived at our location and waited for the un-​loaders to arrive. (which was another disaster in itself) they were overbooked with jobs and more than 10 hours behind schedule before they got to us. To say the least it was after midnight when they started unloading. Once they started to unload they mentioned that the truck was booby-​trapped things were falling all over one another as they removed boxes. The manager stated that the loaders did a terrible job of loading and didn’t protect anything like they were supposed to. He said he would support us on any claim we processed, he was very embarrassed that the same company had loaded what he was unloading.
After tallying up all the damage it come to more than $ 7,000, things like the bed rail screws were jabbing into the front loader washer and scratched and wrinkled the whole front of both washer and dryer. The dining room table had items stacked on it without it being protected by the blankets (that we paid for), there were so many scratches and gouges on the table top and chairs. It was just a terrible sight.
It’s pretty sad that you pay good money to have someone take care of your belongings to not give a crap or to stand behind their services.
I spent more than $ 35 processing, notarizing and sending pictures of the documented «labor» to have them reject my claim, and on top of that they sent me a copy of my signed agreement that if I rented my own truck once they shut the door they were not liable…
Worst service ever and would recommend anyone over them.

I’ve been a musician for my whole life and now I get to look at an instrument that can’t be played anymore. My pristine baby grand piano was DESTROYED by their moving practices. Avoid this moving company like the plague. They are false advertisement, they don’t bring correct tools to the site to get the job done and will beat on your most precious items with a hammer and destroy them! Several witness and expert statements later, they still refuse to pay for their incompetence. Have a lawyer at standby before you even think about using this wicked company. If they show up at your house, send them away!!!

The way this company handled me as a customer was so poor I’d like to not rate it with a star at all but can’t. I reached out to this company to help me move items out of my second floor apartment so I could move to Colorado Springs for a new job I’d just received. I called and booked them over a month in advance. They assured me that they would be available to help out and stated that closer to my move date they would call me to schedule a move time. Three days prior to my move I called them to set up a specific time because I was already in Colorado and I wanted to make sure things would go smoothly, as I like to make sure things are set up correctly. I told them I would be back in Wichita the day of the move to meet up with them but they refused to set a specific time for their services until the day before. I complied. At 4 in the afternoon I received a call from them but was unable to answer as I was working at my job in Colorado. I called them back as soon as I could; however, with the time change they did not answer as it was 5 in Wichita. I left a voicemail. The next morning, the day of my move, I called them again at 8 am. The person I spoke with said nothing about any issue with my having missed their call the previous day, but said he would have to call me back in a «few» hours with a time. 3 and a half hours later I still had not received a call so I called yet again. The owner stated that they had given my slot away because I had failed to answer when they called the previous day. This left only me and my father to move every item out of my second floor apartment in 100 degree weather.
I could not believe that this company would be so inconsiderate of my circumstances and tip toe around the issue instead of telling me what was wrong the first time I called. What kind of a company calls so late in the day to schedule a move if my answering the phone was so crucial to keeping my appointment? I will never work with this company again and will not recommend it to any friends or colleagues. All My Sons is a poorly organized company with little respect for their consumers schedules.

This was by far, the worst moving experience I have ever had! 2 guys showed up and spent 35 minutes figuring out what to move first before even starting. Thanks for 35 min of paid time without doing anything! Then it took them 4 hours to load up and unload a one bedroom apartment without any boxes. This is only sofa, bedroom set and dining room table. I can’t even tell you how many times I watch one guy check his phone and send text messages. Then, the price they quoted me was incorrect and they charged me more than what was quoted. Whatever you do, where ever you move… DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

I filled out an online form to get a quote for our move, within five minutes I have had four calls from this company. Nice but annoying. I scheduled the move and they came out… The movers didn’t know they were packing anything, and brought three boxes for a four bedroom house. I told them my quote included the packing and was argued with. Then they proceeded to add $ 200 storage fee and another man for more moving help. I called the company back and was argued with again. I sent them back and did not move with them. They do not communicate well, and are a shady bunch… No matter the price they did not give me a good feeling very unprofessional. Now I must go pack my U-​Haul…

this company misrepresented pricing, moving experience and family owned and operated. not true at all. They put holes in walls in our front door way and our furniture was broken and beat up, four guys came out and basically sat on their rears the hole time. the insurance claim is taking for ever for use to get our new house fixed. never, never, never will i use this company or recommend them. I was quoted pricing three times and when they wanted payment it was so different, worst movers ever.

Several pieces of our nicer furniture were seriously damaged. Dinged walls and woodwork in new house. Seemed to lack experience and had overall disregard for our belongings.
